We arrived there and there was a lady on the reception just to take our money for the 3 days in advance ( that seemed strange to us) and after that the lady said, ok i leave, i will be on the village inside the island, if there´s something, go to talk to mi sisters house ( next to the hotel). after that, we never see again nobody on the reception.

There´s no aircon, but there´s no even fan because the electricity sometimes goes off.
There´s nobody in the reception so if you have any problem, you must to go the the house next to the hostel to talk to them.

We arrived there, for 3 nights, after 15 minutes there, we realized that the place was in an ugly area of the island, the beach was dirty, it was ugly and we didnt feel good with the room and the hotel so we decided to talk to the owner but, like always, there was nobody on the reception. so we went to the house next to the hotel and they let us call the owner, we explained that we wanted to leave so please, keep the money of today, but refund us the money of tomorrow and the next day.....so guess what the owner said... NOPE!
he started to say that we payed in advance so that was our problem. he said that we had a deal... wtf theres no deal, im paying for a service or room, and if im not gonna stay there, im not gonna pay for what im not gonna use.
We asked him if it was possible for him to came to the hotel to talk with us, so he said NOPE.
we tried to go to the village to find the owner, we didnt get it, we took our backpacks and leave that nasty place, so we let the keys in the recepcion desk ( nobody there again)  so we lost our money, our time AND WE FELT CHEATED AND ALONE.

TRUST ME, THERE´S SUCH MORE PLACES BETTER THAN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE, you can find cheap hotels and bungalows in the good island area with good and clean beaches. 

IF YOU APRECCIATE YOUR HOLIDAYS AND YOU WANT TO ENJOY GILI MENO, TRUST ME, DONT GO THERE.

Trust me, dont go there.

Stayed for one night. Simple bungalow. One of four total. Clean. No aircon. Fan only. Outdoor bathroom. Salt water shower and only a trickle. Very quiet location. Only a few minutes walk to a beautiful section of beach. Great for a short stay. Restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. Reception does not seem to be manned, pop by nearby Blue Coral resort and someone there helps with check in. 

When you land at the harbour just follow the coastal path through the Karma resort and continue along the coast past Ryan's Cafe. Shortly after  there is a sign for the Kareba bungalows. I took the inland road, no signs to the bungalow and easy to take a wrong turn.

One night. Basic. Clean. Short walk to beach. 

Property is located on the north side of the island, which is in our opinion the best part. Less tourist bars and people selling bracelets or fruit, and great snorkeling spots with turtles! Rooms are quite big and are standalone bungalows which is nice. Bathroom was fine, just like almost everywhere, salty water to shower.

You can't get breakfast which you have to find in one of the nearby restaurants which are close and serve great food, so that's not an issue actually. They don't clean the rooms during your stay unless you ask. Also, it's an open, see-the-stars shower and toilet which can be an issue if it rains (if it ever rains on Meno). Rooms are very basic so you have to bring your own mosquito net. 

Basic bungalow with good amount of privacy reasonably priced

We were looking for a cheap but spacious bungalow on gili meno. This was the perfect choice. Clean, spacious and an outdoor bathroom. The shower was not the best, but ok. It was so nice that the blue coral warung was just a few steps away for a great breakfast (and lunch and dinner ;-)). We wanted to stay one week and ended up with three. Ibro at the reception was always helpful and gave us what we needed. Would come back!

Very nice place!!

We stayed here for a two nights... it was nice but very simple... reception was very funny, just like little stand with a board where are name of guests... it seems to me very funny but nice... people were nice. Bungalows has big simpl bathrooms and comfortable bads. We were really satisfied... really close to beach
