5 star to me is hugely based on cleanliness, comfortable bed, friendless of staff, you may find  slightly more plush, but I guarantee you won’t find anything as accommodating, helpful & friendly as these guys, Made is a lovely guy will do anything to help you. Book a one to one snorkelling trip with Mades friend Dri, priceless & do not leave before sampling the pancakes.

Unforgettable

We stayed in the bamboo bungalow & we loved it. Just 3 minutes walk to the beach, 15 minutes walk or 100K in a horse & cart to the port. Ran by a lovely family who are genuinely trying for you to have the best time. Lovely room decorated with flowers, fabulous outside bathroom, unlimited drinking water. Great value for money, we would highly recommend. 

What a great place to stay

Meno dream resort is a beautiful resort. The owners Made and Berni are fantastic hosts, who go above and beyond to make feel guests welcome. 
Made is also an amazing chef and he prepared some delicious dinners for us.
The bungalows are nicely decorated with attention to detail.
The island is stunning with amazing beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Beautiful bungalows, lovely pool area, exceptional food and warm and welcoming hosts... is Meno dream resort.
Highly recommend this resort...

Great hosts, beautifull bungalows

We had a nice stay at Dream, everyone is super friendly. It is a small resort, not crowded and nothing fancy, but it has a lot of charm and it comes with all facilities you need (air con, swimming pool…).

Really nice hotel

We recently visited Gili Meno and stayed at the Meno Dream Resort for a few nights.  What amazing, hospitable, welcoming hosts Made and Berni were.  Nothing was too much trouble.  There was an option to take a horse taxi from the quay to the Resort but we decided to walk, it was no problem. We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival and shown to our accommodation, which was perfect.  
The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.  The pool was lovely and refreshing.  The only night time noises we heard were nature.  There were also bikes to borrow.
Berni was so kind when we disclosed we had" snorkelling"sunburn, she went off on her bike and hunted out some wild aloe vera for us to apply.  We had some lovely chats.  The member of staff who was there at the time (sorry I don't remember her name), was equally nice.

Absolutely lovely!

From the moment I arrived at Meno Dream, it was in my opinion exceptional! I was met by the owner 'Made' who could not do enough for me. He made me a cold drink and gave me a scented cold towel to cool me down on arrival. My petite cottage was a little oasis, the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were like sleeping on air. It was so quiet and I slept so well every night. I was met each morning with a hot strong coffee which was prepared for me as soon as I awoke. Made cooked breakfast for me fresh. I also ate dinner at the resort a couple of evenings and this was also prepared fresh with local ingredients. Made even arrived in one evening with fresh Tuna caught only a couple of hours previous which were cooked to perfection for dinner. Every part of the resort has been well thought out and it is very obvious that both Made and Bernie take immense pride in their resort & the comfort and experience of the guest. I could chill in my own hammock or relax in the pool area when I was not exploring the Island. I was given a bike to explore and even took out their 'clear' Kayak to the sea where you could see all the tropical fish. Made arranged trips for me with friends and this also had such a personal touch. Dri is a friend of Mades who has a boat and I would highly recommend going with him. I have traveled the world and never had quite the same experience I had at Meno Dream, it felt like staying in paradise with old friends. Thank you for an experience I will never forget!

Best experience I have ever had in my world travels

We ended up extended our stay at Meno Dream. The room was nice and clean, tv, air-con, free water,  outside fun bathroom and we even caught the WiFi in our room since we were in the first hut, right in front of the kitchen ( I think the WiFi is available only at the kitchen/restaurant area).
The service was very good, the 2 guys there and the owner were all friendly (sorry I didn't catch their names). 
Breakfast nice as well. In the evening most likely you'll hear the guitar playing, enjoy a beer on the hammock. 
We had a great time at Meno Dream and we would definitely recommend it ! 

Relaxing 

Don't really know where to start, but there are so many good things to say about Gili Meno Dream Resort. If we start with the breakfast then it is very good, fresh fruit and an incredibly good omelet. Even the pancakes are amazing. Made and his staff really do everything to make you feel comfortable. Made is a wonderful cook so if you live here you have to try his food. As others have written, Wi-Fi is limited to the restaurant. I only see benefits from it. You can do so much other than surfing the internet. The rooms are perfectly cleaned. There is a small salt water pool as a complement to swimming in the sea. There are also bicycles to borrow free of charge. I know I will return to this amazing place next time I come to Gili Meno. Thank you so much Made for making our holliday so good.

The best place ever. 

Relaxing ambiance, beautiful garden, friendly service, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Really delicious ! Kids loved the pancakes. We did too...
The island itself is a paradise and Meno Dream Resort is a perfect place to stay. The garden makes you feel like living in the middle of the forest. 
The host is a very interesting, nice guy. We loved the place so much that we stayed one day longer on the island. Would love to go back in the future!! 
I have seen some negative reviews where people were complaining about wi-fi etc... Do not expect luxury hotels rooms with air conditioning and Wi-Fi and ATM machines around the corner. This is a beautiful place on a remote, paradise island. Just perfect :)

Can't imagine a better place to stay on the paradise island :)

I returned this year to Meno Dream resort  after July 2012. The island itself developed tremendeusly. If 2012 was still a quiet getaway now its completly different. Resort after resort every step you take.
But Meno Dream resort still impressed me a lot. Like the island, the resort also developed enormously. They even started to build a swiming pool, which is kind of funny, because the see is 2 min away. But i guess people are to lazy to walk for 2 min and prefer to lay in the pool with their phones and surfing the internet and watch TV on their holliday :)
Made the owner is still the nicest person i have ever met. Like in 2012 when i wrote positive things about his cooking...it only got better. Best cousine on the island. The rooms are still imaculate clean and even brighter than before.
Staff is doing the best they can to make you feel the best as possibile.
Hope the resort stays like it is and doesnt go to much mainstream, because it can lose its charm of i quiet getaway.
