Really nice peaceful place to stay, staff really friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with water at check in but it was very quickly sorted. The wifi is not great but it's a tiny island so wouldn't expect much more. Everything we ate at the restaurant was fantastic and some of the best food we ate on our trip through Bali / Lombok and Gili M. 

Lovely place to stay

My wife and I stayed at Mahogany Cottage in Gili Meno as we were in Gili for scuba diving. The location was great. Seems almost hand built. Comfortable bed, and right about a 10 second walk from the beach.  Just FYI
- The service is out of this world. Smiling, literally no ifs ands or buts.....simply great service and help.
- We ate at 3 restaurants around the tiny island. The hotel's restaurant was by far the best.  Food was piping hot and delicious.  Also seemed cleaner than the other small restaurants we went to.

If you are looking for a comfortable, service driven, pleasant and nearly beachfront location this is for you. My wife and I spent to weeks in Bali (actually still here) and this place seems to showcase Bali charm perfectly.

Amazing location, great food, AND service is out of this world

Wonderful stay. Tucked away, just behind the lively Ana Warung bungalows. 

We came here last year, and just had to come back this year too. I expect we'll return again next year. This year, we were upgraded to the Mahogany cottage, which is a lovely two floor bamboo villa, with huge windows, a japanese soak bath, huge shower room, two balconies with sitting areas and a TV with a decent selection of channels and DVDs! 

The staff are super friendly and really helpful. They gave us snorkels and fins for free and helped arrange private speed boat to and from the Bangsal jetty, for a really good price! It was amazing easy to travel without the hassle of getting tickets and waiting around for a very long time. 

Mahogany cottage is also home to the Little Bali restaurant, which is amazing! The breakfast is lush and the large servings will keep you going until dinner! (I recommend eggs benedict!).
My favourites from the menu were chicken satay, and chicken burritos -- probably the best you could find on the island, and pisang goreng, which are banana fritters in sweet syrup. 

The location is also just perfect! Right outside, there is probably the best snorkeling spot on the island. Lots of boats come here with large groups. We usually went out around 3-4pm after the boats have stopped and got the entire reef to ourselves. Every time we went snorkeling we swam with the turtles, even in shallower areas! And because we weren't in a large group and didn't chase them, the turtles were really comfortable and even curious that let us come very close to them within an arm reach -- definitely one of the best experiences!

Really pleased with our stay, like I said, very likely to come back to this little gem, despite the island getting lots more developments going.

My friend and I stayed at Mahogany Cottage for a few nights in November. It was an special experience from the moment we drove in until when we left. Only a minute walk from the beach and some of the best sea turtle snorkeling on the island, Mahogany Cottage is quiet and relaxing. We stayed in Mahogany; it was a beautiful, unique place to spend a few days. With the attention to detail you can feel the love. The wood working, furniture, and art are all unique and beautiful. The owners clearly are thinking of their guests, we had snorkels, bikes, movies, books, and games all available for our use. The staff was friendly and attentive. I can’t imagine a better place to enjoy Gili Meno.

Do you want a quiet island getaway, free from the hustle and bustle of some of the more crowded experiences? Do you want to snorkel and see sea turtles? Do you want to stay in a place only steps from the beach that is both luxurious and authentic at the same time? Then traveling to gili meno and staying at mahogany cottages is what you want to do. It is simply amazing, traveled here with a friend and we can't say enough nice things about this place. The bungalows are incredible, with some of the best amenities of any place we've stayed in South east asia. The location is great, you are right near the beach and a short walk takes you along the coast to all the major bar scenes. The staff here is the most courteous and helpful group you have ever met, and consistently go above and beyond what you expect. Book here, you will not regret it
