Clean room, cozy vibes , staff kind and available.. 
There is also the chance to get the room done with change of towel as well! 
To be an homestay I definitely recommend it! 👌🏼
And, a good cup of coffee it’s also included in the morning 😉

Quality/price on point

I can highly recommend to stay at Mango Tree Homestay! The room is beautiful, with cute little details and very clean. Bayen is the perfect host. He helps you with everything and in the morning he brings you fresh coffee. I loved sitting on my own little patio with a nice garden view. Its possible to rent a Bicycle for a good price. The homestay is very close to the beach and good restaurants. I would definitely come back again. :)

We had a very Nice time thanks to our Stay at Mango tree. super friendy people and very clean. A haven of peace on the bruising island of Gili Trawangan. We really felt at home here.

Lovely place, friendy people

I stayed in Mangotree Homestay for 5 months in a nice room. Everything was clean, the room well equiped with AC, fan, a double bed and a lot of space available. The bathroom was simple but perfectly working. No hot water but it is the same in the other homestays of the island. 
Outside the room, 2 chairs and a table in front of a little garden, very peaceful and quiet. When you enter Mangotree, you are in a quiet place, very green with lots of trees and plants. The owners,  Kirsti and Bayen,  and Hamzan, are all very nice and helpful. They provide everything you need if you ask, and are always here if you need them. You can rent bikes and ask them for some days trips around the island.

5 months in Mangotree Homestay

We came to Mango Tree on Gili T islands as an escape from the hustle of Bali. Little did we know that we were in for a treat of a lifetime. The facilities are perfect value for money and the location is perfect, close to the beach, closer to the shops and just that perfect distance away from the noise of the night life.

The staff are absolutely incredible. They will do everything to make your experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

We consider ourselves lucky for being their guest and even luckier for now we consider them all good friends.

Every morning they would be there with a smile to make you coffee and breakfast, every day they would be there with a smile to help you explore the island without intruding on your privacy, and every night they will be there with smile and a song to make you feel like you are welcomed home.

I cannot believe the experience they gave us and now honestly consider them amongst my friends. I had the pleasure of meeting their friends and families and feel honoured by the privilege. 

Do yourself a favour and book a stay with them. I have never written a review for any of the places I have stay before, but due to the amazing time I have I feel it's the least I could do to repay them and advise you.

Honestly the best

I stayed here for a few months (November-April) and loved it! It's very simple but was perfect for me.  The Wifi worked amazingly (which is quite impressive for Gili).  The owners Bayen and Kristy are soooo wonderful.  They will help you out with anything! It has a cute little garden and is close to everything but still far away enough from the bars to get a good sleep!

Such a lovely place to stay! Feels lots of love and care about this place. Thanks, Katy, for amazing hosting and your hospitality! Whatever we needed we had it, rooms were incredible cosy, beds were so soft, people were so friendly and helpful. Didn’t want to go out!

Lovely place to stay

Stayed here with my girlfriend. the room is simple but that's just to be expected for the price. The best part was the super friendly staff. Always felt safe and welcome there. 

Do yourself a favor and pay the extra 1 or 2 dollars for the air conditioned room. It gets pretty hot on that island.

Simple  but Confortable

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights ( cut short to 2 because we didn't like the island at all)

Mango tree is made up of 8 small huts/cabins. from the outside it looks quite nice and cosy, however the rooms are small and extremely hot, even with the fan on.  

The bathroom looked massively unhygienic and we found 2 cockroaches in there one morning. 

The bed was relatively comfortable but all the bedding and pillows etc smelt of damp. 

You get some basic breakfast which we tried one morning, which as you can imagine by the review so far, was very basic 

As the title states this is a serious budget scenario, i would only stay here again if i absolutely had to. 

On a plus side the staff are really nice. on one night there was a power outage on the whole island but the staff gave us regular updates when they could and were really tentative. 

i'm grateful for the experience anyway and i'm only writing a negative review for the people who think the place will be amazing just because it looks cool from the outside ( like i did)

Get what you pay for..

Very nice place in Trawangan 
The owner are super nice and take care of their hosts with many intentions.
They gave goods advises and they are very kind
The room are really nice and clean and the price as well
