Welcome to this comfortable cottage (small terrace for breakfast) and well located on the island (not far from the beach). However, not far from the mosque we wake up at 5am! There is only cold water, but with this heat on Gili we do it :) Breakfast is good (pancake banana and tea for my part) and served quickly! I recommend you stay in this home stay on Gili for a few days at a low price.

Nice homestay.

We made a booking in person two days before, and he even showed us the room, and when we got there, there was no room available, and the person who made our booking was there, and he pretended like we had never booked, and he sent us out for a walk.

Unacceptable - no room even if booked

Room to rent for a week. Not clean. The room we had was the most remote but I think the first one was better. No hot water. Breakfast included. Not to mention the room. The owners were nice. A smell in the bathroom that I couldn't stand. And the water that didn't leak. No room service.

It's bad

Where to start... We arrived and the shower was broken, the bins were unemptied and the front door wouldn't lock. Clearly no one had checked the room over (I wondered if the bedding was even clean). During the night we found that the fan in the room was useless as it simply pushed hot air around and it was cooler sleeping outside. If the sauna like heat doesn't bother you, also know that the homestay is a street away from the local mosque so you get to enjoy the 5am prayer (it is actually beautiful.... But at 5am and incredibly loudly, it's very frustrating). Finally, we sent out clothes off to laundry via the homestay. When our clothes were returned we found that 3 tops were damaged and unwearable. When we complained to the owner, the threatened to BURN ALL OF OUR CLOTHES (actually attempting to burn one on the line) and later CAME BACK WITH SCISSORS. He was very aggressive (clearly) and we did not feel safe... So we left. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.

Spacious rooms, air conditioning, friendly and available staff, high standards of cleanliness, welcoming cocktails, located in a very elegant residential area and a few meters from the sea combined with places of worship of historical memory

we booked the air conditioned room with dvd player and TV, bathroom, and king-size bed. in that room, we spend 3 nights and with 4 members, we decide to pay for extra bed. the good things is, for breakfast, initially for 2, they give us 4 for each of us and it's great. the air conditioned room is great, the bathroom was big but with no hot water and no bathroom supply (except towel and toilet paper), not even trash bin. we encounter 4 cockroaches so far, two that we could finally killed. other two, not sure. for one room we get 450.000 with extra bed for 50.000. i think that's expensive, but to think again, everything is the island is expensive. so for most people 450.000 is normal, even cheap. not sure, but if you travelling alone or with just a friend, i recommended to find the cheaper one with fan and smaller room because apparently lombok and gili is not that hot.

Good location, close to the main street. Lunch included (very good pancake). Friendly staff. Poor wifi connection, cockroaches in the rooms, cleanliness passing, no hot water, noisy mosque nearby

Passable

We booked the cottage for one night on booking.com. The bathroom was really dirty, cockroach included and there were a lot of things missing (towels, bin, toilet paper) so we had to ask for this all the time and the staff was really unpleasant. Later we found out the air con was leaking and it barely worked. After searching for the staff for 10 again, the owner said he would call the company. We didn't hear anything from him for 45 minutes. We came out to ask him again. He then said to us that the air conditioning did work while everyone with any sense at all could tell that it was not. He was so rude to us, we decided to leave the place, even though we had to pay for that night. Just 1 minute walk we found mutiara cottage, a nicer place with an amazing air con and most of all: very nice staff!! For the same price. Worst service we've ever experienced

Don't stay here

Guesthouse nice, the rooms with ventilation are wet. 5 minutes from main street proper lunch and the staff are really nice. we were able to negotiate prices directly with the manager. bicycle prices are half cheaper than on the beach 25k rupees. we already booked our room for our return to Trawangan in a few days. with weather this time here...

Nice, a little wet though.

This place is run by a really helpful man who provided us with everything we asked extra and helped straight away with a couple of minor issues.
Breakfast was fine each morning and was made within 15 minutes of us ordering each day for 5 days. 
Heaps of DVDs in the rooms if you wanted them and pretty close to the front strip. 
The only down for us was the shower pressure but it was enough to shower well.

Expect power cuts on Gili T, they don't last for more than a few hours and not normally through the night as they are caused by maintenance.
