Our group of long-time girlfriends recently travelled to Bali to celebrate some special birthdays. We spent 7 amazing days at Villa Samuan and cannot speak highly enough of our stay. We left feeling completely relaxed and very grateful for a very special holiday.

The location is perfect being a 5-10 minute walk to the Flea Markets, main shopping & restaurant areas, Ku De Ta etc and the beach. The villa design is stunning & beautifully decorated. We took the entire space/both villas giving us 5 bedrooms all with their own bathroom, 2 living and dining areas and 2 pool areas. All the living areas, bedrooms rooms & bathrooms are huge. The outdoor areas are equally WOW - the pools are beautiful, perfect temperature, in the right amount of shade, a generous size & surrounded by lush gardens with high walls giving total privacy. It was amazingly quiet given how close by everything is.

The staff are incredible, very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Any transport we needed or activities we wanted to do Komang organised. The cooking day & village tour he booked for us were excellent as was the poolside yoga we did most mornings.

The food & drinks menu offers a great selection of local & western dishes. We loved returning to the villa after a day out, having a cool-down swim, poolside drinks & a delicious meal "at home". There are also small kitchenettes at both ends of the villa with a fridge, filtered refrigerated water machines etc.

There is a spa menu and treatment room! We made good use of the spa treatments available to be booked, all of which were excellent & very well priced. It is perfect not having to leave the villa for a massage, just the effort of getting up from the sun lounge and walking to the treatment room.

We could not fault anything and thoroughly recommend a stay at the villa.

A week of bliss.

Quite often I sit in places and consider how lucky I am to be there. This visit to Villa Samuan made me consider how blessed I am. The Villa is luxury plus from the warm; genuine welcome delivered by the property’s staff to the most tastefully, yet homely decoration of the place. Some of the artwork around the Villa is amazing. 
Two pools, five wonderfully appointed bedrooms and many little nooks in which to ‘just be’. I was lucky enough to stay in the master suite - massive room with super-king bed; dressing room; bathroom and shower room. 

The staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast every day served fresh, hot and with the widest smiles that the Balinese are famous for. The coffee is without doubt some of the best I have ever tasted in the 67 countries that I’ve been lucky enough to visit; it is superb. You haven’t had a flat white until you have had one here! 

As the famous sports brand says - Just Do It! You will not be disappointed.

Heaven on earth

I travelled to Bali recently with friends and we stayed at Villa Samuan. It was hands down the best Bali experience I’ve had. The villa itself was stunning and in such a great location. Every need was catered for by Komang and the amazing staff. I would absolutely recommend staying at Villa Samuan to anyone looking for luxury in the heart of Seminyak. I can’t wait to visit again!

Villa Experience

This was my second time staying at Villa Samuan and it did not disappoint. Ascetically, the Villa is an architectural masterpiece, so incredibly well designed you literally feel like you have stepped into a private paradise amongst the hustle and bustle of Semikyak. The Villa balances perfectly traditional Balinese charm with 5 star modern luxury.
The Villa is cleverly designed so that even when travelling in large groups everyone can find their own quiet space. The staff are impeccable in their service and hospitality and go above and beyond to ensure the most enjoyable stay. We enjoyed all of the features the Villa has to offer including in room dining (and the best Nasi Goreng I've ever eaten), pool side cocktails, fantastic 5-star coffee and in room massages and spa treatments. 
Location wise, the Villa is perfectly located in the heart of Seminyak walking distance to the main shopping and 'eat street' and popular beach clubs such as Ku de Ta. A flea market is a 2 minute stroll away for any Bali specials. 
I have now stayed at the Villa with both my family and young children and with a larger group of girlfriends and would absolutely recommend, you will not be disappointed !

An Architectural Masterpiece in the Heart of Semikyak

We travelled to Bali with another couple in May 2023. I won't  bore you to death with the endless details of our amazing vacation, so I'll keep it as short as possible. We rented the two bedroom half of the villa for two weeks. We found it on TripAdvisor and the many exceptional reviews were our reason for booking.

I was fully prepared that the pool would be cold and unusable as these things often are. It was the opposite, so warm and fabulous, we spent many days hanging out in the pool drinking Bintang and eating snakefruit. 

The villa is gorgeous and comfortable with beautiful furniture and art. It is down a quiet street. It's an easy 800m walk to the beach and just around the corner from an amazing coffee shop. Eat Street is nearby. There is no end to the food, drink, and activities one can have within walking distance.

The on-site manager, Komang, is exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. He's also an amazing chef who created us many beautiful Balinese feasts during our stay. If you can dream it, Komang will make it happen. Food, experiences, road trips, adventures, private cooking classes, you name it. All the staff were attentive and lovely. Not to mention, they make the BEST coffee. No detail was too small. 

We had Alam as our driver on many days. He was also wonderful and knowledgeable, often spending long days with us as we hiked volcanoes and visited elephants, monkeys, etc. 

Everyone spoke great English and even our unique or more detailed requests were easily understood.

The Balinese people are incredibly polite and friendly and everyone inside and outside the villa was a pleasure to interact with. 

My only regret about this vacation was that it had to come to an end!



Counting the days until we can go back!

This villa is the ultimate luxury accommodation for families or a group of friends, with a total of 5 bedrooms. The villa can also be split into a 3-bedroom and a 2-bedroom which can be booked separately. Each has its own private swimming pool, indoor and outdoor living area, kitchenette, and private gardens.

Villa Samuan is within walking distance of the popular Seminyak beaches, local shops, craft markets and a variety of restaurants. The area is safe and peaceful, a haven for travelers.

Upon arrival I felt completely at home, the staff were friendly and courteous.

I spent three nights in the 2-bedroom “Villa Kalih” which is fully serviced and offers in-room massages, full breakfast, complimentary coffee and tea, a private driver and ultra-fast Wi-Fi.

The villa staff are available 24 hours a day and are happy to attend to your every need. The lavender scented hand soap and shower amenities smelled like a dream and the bathtub is perfect for an afternoon soak. They also offer mosquito spray in the rooms and outside, which is definitely useful at night.

The villa has beautiful architecture, and a warm ambience, the ideal luxury private retreat. Around the pool you are surrounded by coconut trees and lush tropical gardens. Inside you have striking furniture, stunning art pieces and luxury amenities. It has stylish touches around every corner. The Villa is elegantly designed, and the king-size bed offers a comfortable night’s sleep.

Komang, the villa manager, has excellent commitment to service. Everything I needed, him and his team supplied. The fantastic staff provided exceptional service, making my stay unforgettable. The Balinese hospitality is so comforting, and they ensured my stay was carefree.

The daily breakfast was delicious, and they make the best cappuccinos. For breakfast, you can choose from a selection of meals such as Indonesian breakfast or full breakfast. You can have fresh juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, and I opted for the smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs. I had this dish every morning as it was so tasty.

Nearby attractions that I would recommend are KU DE TA, a beach club and restaurant that is an outstanding place for sunset drinks. For shopping I would recommend The Flea Market, and you can walk along that road to find multiple different cafes and shopping experiences. I would also recommend Luc. Coffee Roasters, a great café for lunch or a coffee in between shopping. These places are all within walking distance of the villa.

Villa Samuan stands out from the plethora of private villas in the vicinity due to its distinct architectural design and exceptionally fashionable interior decor. The villa harmoniously blends traditional Balinese elements with contemporary aesthetics, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind ambiance.

A contemporary private villa located in Seminyak, Bali.

This villa experience was one of the best I have had in going to Bali for the past 35 years. The combination of the 3 and 2 bedroom set up which can house 5 couples was excellent. the pool areas and dining areas are very spacious and the gardens are very well kept and typical of beautiful tropical Bali. Art work and furniture all top class. Most importantly the staff are extremely courteous and responsive. Everything we needed was supplied. I aloo love the location as I love Seminyak  more than Legian and Canguu. Well done to the owners for ensuring this piece of beautiful arichitercure, service and ambience can be enjoyed.

BRILLIANT VILLA RESORT

This villa is next level. We have been renting villas every year for the past 20 years and this is one of the best in Bali. The villa is huge and stunning, the furnishings are completely custom and stunning. The staff ( and there are many of them) are simply amazing. Nothing is too much for them. I can’t wait to stay again
