My husband and I stayed at this amazing little paradise in the rice fields of Tetebatu. It was super comfy and quiet. The gardens are amazing and you can settle down to both sunset and sunrise views from the property. 
And the owner Uci, is a most excellent host and amazing cook. The lemon chicken is highly recommended. She can also hook you up with local guides who will take you trekking around the many rice fields and waterfalls in the area. She is a sweetheart. 
This is a really fun and beautiful spot in Tetebatu❤️

I didnt stay here, so i cannot tell you about how it is to stay here, but i came here daily to eat and to visit a friend who stayed here, so hanged out quite a lot.
Very nice setting in the middle of the ricefields and beautiful view if Mount Rinjani, specially in the morning you could see the mountain so clear - before the clouds came in.
Ricefields as long as your eyes can ses...all green around you.
Also a lot of love has been put into the garden, theres even homegrown lemongrass,mint etc that you can ask to be added to your tea.
I came here many times to eat and i have to say that the wife cooked the best food in all Tetebatu, its was so so delicious, thank you so much for all the lovely meals.
I checked out the rooms and they all looked good to me and the bathrooms clean and spacious.
Definetly a place to stay if you appreciate all the nature around you, quiet time and lovely food with friendly people.

Good solid food !

I went to stay here with a friend who is from Lombok and he was also amazed at how beautiful it was. Perfect views of Rinjarni, close to waterfalls that you can swim in, food at the guest house was so tasty but there is other food options available around if you wish, super friendly staff and willing to help accommodate all your needs, Fast WI-FI. Perfect place to relax.

Comfy guest houses, hot water, amazing food

The huts, the place overall was really nice, but its not at all worth the experience of having the owner invading your privacy. I was alone in my hut, I woke up at 0:30am to the owner standing next to my bed saying he forgot to give me a water bottle and that he would give me a massage now. I was half asleep and I couldnt believe what was happening, told him a firm no and he luckily went away (I dont want to imagine what could have happened). I cant believe how dares he to enter a guest's hut at such time (+Im a solo female traveler) with the excuse of offering me a massage, yeah sure, "a massage". This guy just has a guest house to take advantage of female travellers, nothing else. So no matter if you're solo or a couple or family, stay away from this place and dont support this creeper.

Stay away from this place and its creepy owner

This place is beautiful and was in lots of ways my mot treasured experience as part of my trip in Indonesia. The tour was awesome and the bungalows were beautiful. 
For this reason - and the fact that most people associated with the place were so incredibly nice - I have not wanted to write a review but, in an effort to warn solo female travellers I feel I must. 
The first night arrived they had double booked and so I was staying in an unfinished bungalow without a lock or proper bed and an open plan bathroom where anyone could have seen me showering. 

I thenhad a very uncomfortable experience with the owner and I don’t feel he can be trusted. My understanding is he is not often there and if you are travelling as a couple you will have an amazing time here.
I told him I was sick and he said he was a good masseuse. Communication was difficult and so without knowing what I had signed up to he was giving me a massage outside my room - he suggested he do it inside but I felt uncomfortable and said no. He then proceeded to physically, without going into to much detail, be inappropriate - his hands moving higher than I was clearly comfortable with and his own body touching mine. 
Eventually I shook him off saying “I just didn’t feel safe”. 
I hope that practices have slightly changed and, as mentioned, want to reiterate that everyone else working there is amazing and generous and kind. It’s just in the middle of nowhere and as a female traveller that particular situation made me feel unsafe that first night. The next day I moved into the bungalows advertised and the were beautiful.

Incredibly beautiful and kind except for the owner

Heaven on earth. Walking true the rice fields, eating well, getting rest. Beautiful bungalow, villages and very friendly people. No infrastructure is damaged here after the earthquake. We also will go up the mountain tomorrow. Not to the top but to the volcano rim. The range of mountains is so big, there is other places to hike. We go to a viewpoint of 3000 meters.

No problems after earth quake

We had amazing stay here and would strongly suggest to it to anyone with Tetebatu on their itinerary. The area is stunningly beautiful, the homestay grounds are immaculate, and the hosts are so kind and gracious. Do yourself a favor and stay here! 

Heart of Lombok

My husband and I loved our stay here.  The view from the room is incredible and the family that runs the place is beyond welcoming and friendly.  We also had a wonderful guide, Jalal (who works here), for a day of hiking through the rice fields and monkey forest.
