The accommodation matches the pictures and has a good price-performance ratio. The staff makes a great effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is OK, but you don't have much to choose from. The accommodation could be a little cleaner, like cleaning the many spider webs. In the accommodation you can rent a scooter for 50,000 IDR (be careful, in case of an accident or motor accident you have to cover the costs, unfortunately our friend has happened). We would like to come here again in any case. For more tips or questions we are happy to be available. Great place to stay

These guys And staff is great! Also rooms are super good for us and cheap. They also made us possible to get hammock to our garden! Thank you for that. We will come back.

Super

You need to stay in to actually realize that this place has its charm. Still unfinished but despite that we had clean room with air con. Sitting are before the room wound need some shade though, e. g. some curtain. The owner lady and all the lads around the place were very nice and willing to advice and help anytime. No problem to rent a bike here or ask for a transport. They renamed to Alabama house this year.

Hidden great place

Siesta House is located in a very quiet part of Kuta - which we loved. We had a free view on the mountain and the room is very spacious. Loved not to step into our travel suitecases all the time. It is clean and the bed is the largest and most comfortable we had in Lombok. The airco is quiet and keeping the room comfortable. The shower was excellent and warm (hot).

The downside: the area is still not finished. No reception, no restaurant and no other facilicties. You have to go to the neighbours for the breakfast. But we could also enjoy the lovely swimmingpool nextdoor. 

One other thing: on Booking.com they advertised with a hottub. But there is no hottub. So a bit disappointing on that. They promissed to contact booking.com on that.

Overall: we have had a good stay here and very comfortable, quiet nights.

Spacious (but rest of accommodation unfinished)

The room is large, bright and clean. The bathroom is also very nice. Each room has its own small patio. And so far what is the hotel; beyond the entrance to the patio, there is nothing built. They have no reception, but at the entrance to the compound there are a few uncles always sitting in an Indonesian bank, greeting you and asking how it is all going, and a pink sofa where you usually sleep. What should be the restaurant is in the middle of construction, and breakfast is given to you in the hotel next door. All this could be compensated by super good service, but the 5 uncles who always walk around don't make things easy for you: they don't speak English very well, and they offer you transportation, transportation, etc. Then there are lots of hotels, and then there are lots of hotels.

It's a little chaotic.

I went to the hotel to spend 4 nights. What a surprise for us when we arrived at the place and there was no reception, no entrance, or anything like it. The receptionist was a guy who was literally lying on top of the typical cabin and was the one who led us to the room. The room was quite spacious, more or less clean and with a spacious bathroom. It also had air conditioning. Breakfast was not given in the premises but in the hotel next door (why?). The people who were on the property seemed to be the friends of the receptionist who barely knew English and always had to call one of the two headers to solve any problem. There are virtually no receipts, everything is hand-delivered and although they are hand-delivered, they always love tea from an organized agribusiness.

Poor experience.

And yet the booking was made a few days before on Booking we got in a taxi on Homestay Street and a few meters before a man showed up to us and told us that everything was complete! We showed him our booking, without any hassle or excuse he told us it was complete and offered us no alternative. A nice failure, we ended up on the street and had to walk the streets around with our bags on our backs to find a homestay before nightfall. So be careful with your bookings I think they're managing their schedule badly!
