I went to this resort to spent weekend during my off days. It surrounded by small river and trees between the building. The place located 189-meters from MSL and only 15-mins from Kediri City Center. That makes this place quite cool since gusts of wind stream from Wilis and Klotok Mountain. My two cents opinion about this resort are:

(+) PROS:

a. Location is perfect, quite calm and not much noise.
b. The resort price affordable among the same level of resort in East Java.
c. The food delicious and the price also affordable.
d. The room are clean as well as with the bathroom and toilet.
e. Spacious room and the bed so comfort, makes your sleep quality improve.
f.  The staff is friendly and helpful.
g. The place has a lot of parking lot and the security patrol every hours.

(-) CONS:

a. The place surrounded by some interesting place, such as Pohsarang (Lucem) Inscription, Pohsarang Terrace Rice Field, Sumber Podang River, Pohsarang Church, etc. However, there are no promotion package for visitor to seek those place.
b. Since the room building close with the trees, weaver ants some occasion appear in the room.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the resort and willing to comeback again in the future. 

Tranquility place for you to enjoy Kediri's fresh air

I have never stayed in the hotel butI went swimming several times!!! It costs me Rp.25k ... Great place to swim, especially in the weekday! Not too crowded... The water was clean!! you will get a free tea.. Anyway, bring your own towel if you just want to swim..

I got a meeting with my colleague at here. i saw the staff doesnt wear name tag on their uniform, from security. waiter, pool attendant, untill manager. No greetings with opened door by bell boy. i feel so desolate and not friendly.no offering help for carrying lugagge.

meeting room doesnt provide wifi with good speed. the menu for meeting are bad taste, bad qualit like we got fried carp but it's not fresh smells so bad, taste the vegetables so salty, dry and bad presentation. The cold drink we got ice grass jelly, the jelly so  bitter. we not satisfied with meeting room menu. how come their chef produced bad food like this.

The hotel doesnt provide clean water closet, and Mushola too, i dont feel comfort to take shalat at hotels musholla.

In the afternoon my kids come to visit me at meeting.They waited at pool and ordered some menu, no waiter/waitress come with responsive. Too long for waiting although the situation are quite not full. For paying bills are same, they too long for responded.

Bad Hotel with Unprofessional Staff and Services

I’m here with my fiancé, we’re having a standard room and nothing to say upon it.
The room is big, clean, funcional, the bathroom is filled with shampoo, soap, beauty amenities and the shower has hot water, the toilet has toilet paper which here in South Asia is a big plus as normally they use the rear shower.
Cleaning service everyday so the room is ok.
The place is huge and peaceful so you will able to sleep, relax and rest really good.
Let’s talk about the pool.
The pool is big, Max deep of 1,30 and has also a lower part where you can sit and enjoy the dolphins fountains spilling water.
There is also an area for kids.
The “problem” is that you have to wear a burkini to swim (the Muslim edition of a bikini), which I don’t have. 
I went to swim in any case with my swimsuit and had few “glances” from the ladies there. 
The breakfast is from 7 to 10, you will have tickets for it and the restaurant is nice and poolside.
The service is ok but tonight we came to have dinner and at 8pm and we asked for meat with vegetables and they didn’t had the meat. So we asked for chicken, and didn’t had the chicken. I asked for a sushi burrito, and “it’s sold out”, for a pizza cone, “sold out”.
It’s Friday night and this is a resort, with romantic options for couples. 
I think that at least having the kitchen ready to prepare what they have on the menu.
They also have a gym here but you have to pay to access to it, it’s the first time in my life that I have to pay to access to the gym of the hotel I’m staying at.
With the structure they have they could be easily an international hotel and resort but it’s not well organized.



Could be a lot more.

Seemed like this hotel is one of the best hotel in Kediri. My big family stayed at this hotel for a reunion and our kids loved the pool so much. It's a giant pool but not too deep so they were enjoying being in the water. The hotel room was ok, a bit dusty but could be tolerate. The cars could be park in front of the room so it's a plus. The breakfast was so so but the view from the dining room was lovely. I would say we're enjoying our stay in Bukit Daun.

Affordable yet convenient

Just got Java Room, which is in another building and the staff refused to escort us there. We ended up lost before find our room.

The building just like haunted, so big, spacious, with so little guest and no cctv.

Breakfast so terrible, they don't inform us wich room and when the breakfast ready. No omelet and can't take leftovers back to our room.

The pool staff are not friendly, they suspicious us sneaking into pool without buying ticket, even cleary, we said about our room number numerous times.

Feel like haunted hotel

This resort type of hotel is basically designed to cater to a lot of kind customers, making it not aiming correctly to the visitors. To not say it is worse. The rooms are rather big, but the interior is not proportionally designed thereto. The rooms are not sound proof. The facilities lacks or needs attentions. Some rules are strict, like the swimming pool requires to wear a swimsuit, but on the contrary the place is rather unguarded and unkept. As a resort it does not offer any specific view. Breakfast is standard and the restaurant has no nice view.
