At first we had some problems due to our booking but they let us stay there... and they were friendly i guess and rooms were clean ... they provided good room service ... they even checked for me while i was sick ...  one problem is that it is little bit away from the beach ... otherwise it's good  😀

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean. I was there on holiday only for one night with some friends. The hotel has also a swimming pool.Breakfast was good. As usually in Indonesia staff was very kind and smiling.

It was last day for us in Bali after back from Lambongan and our flight was 1:00 AM so we need hotel for this so I chose cheap hotel for that and I expect it will be bad . But Kubu Anyar it was unexpected. For how the staff are welcome and the room was clean and location is heart of Kuta and they have free shuttle from Airport. 

One Day Used.... 

for the family i think this hotel is what you needed to because they  have quiet and friendly environment. As for the beach, you can go to the beach within 15 minutes by walking meanwhile 10minutes by using car. You can also sit at in front of the hotel rooms because they provided table and sit to you to do some stuffs. I think most of the staff was friendly and helpful if you want some help. The parking lot is sometimes limited because of road is small. I think most positive to this hotel is near the mart just across the hotel. You can just cross the road to reach it.

comfortable but a bit far off of kuta beach

After a travelling holiday around Bali for 3 weeks staying in hostels and homestays, myself and 2 friends decided that we wanted a luxury place to stay in and chill for our remaining 2 nights before travelling back to the UK.

Arrived at the Kubu Anyar hotel and immediately noticed that it didn't look like the pictures. It was very small, and looked neglected. 

The front desk staff were pleasant at the time we checked in and escorted the 3 of us to our room. When we got there, he informed us that he had no available triple rooms and had booked us into a twin, meaning 2 of us would have to share a single bed for the night, even though we had already paid for a triple. We tried to argue our case however it fell on empty ears. No discounts or money off were offered to us as compensation for the inconvenience on their behalf.    

The room itself smelt like damp, and the bed sheets/ pillow cases and towels were all dirty or stained. I was also bitten by mosquitoes all over my body during this stay.

After having no sleep for the first night, again we complained and after going back and forth for 30 minutes we were put up in separate rooms, meaning our group had to be separated. 

The pool area is tiny and shaded, with 3 sun loungers to lay on, which was taken up by a large family on both days. 

We decided to have food in the restaurant onsite. Firstly, I had to write down my own order as the staff were on break at peak dinner time. Secondly, the food delivered was not the food in the pictures. A 'chicken supreme' described as a pan fried chicken breast with vegetables, wedges and mushroom sauce came as chicken nuggets and chips. When we complained about this, we were laughed at by staff who told us they didn't understand. 

Although close to the airport, the hotel is located approximately 20-30 minute walk from the shops and beach, and the walk itself is quite secluded with no pavements. 

We were disappointed that we chose this place to say in to end the holiday because we couldn't wait to leave. Will not be returning.
