Good points: Room with air-con, tv and big confortable bed. 
About 1km away from the beach. Cheap restaurants and shops nearby. 
They provided transport from and to the airport for a much better price than taxis, so just ask them.

Bad points: The adress provided was wrong (at least for us). There's more than one Gong Corner guest house, so make sure to ask them for the right adress if you're driving or taking a taxi. 
The Room and building overall weren't very clean. The plastic covering the matress was a bit noisy and the shower was leaking. 
You only get spicy fried rice for breakfast, so if you don't like that just skip it. 

An OK option if you're on a budget

For the money you pay, you can't ask for more.Good location, common area, self-service breakfast, low-bed bedrooms with lockers and good atmosphere.The hosts are very friendly and help you with everything you need.

Good quality price

I have nothing good to say about this place. I stayed 5 nights in a dorm for 4 people. 

*The bed was uncomfortable
*The bathroom was disgusting
*Water preassure in the shower was really bad
*The toilet was moving when you sit on it
*No toiletpaper
*The wall in the room was dirty
*Only 3 power sockets
*No bed lamp 
*Far from beach and the big street
*They only cleaned the room one time in 5 days

You can find much better place to stay at for almost the same price. I'll never go back here. 

Worst hostel I stayed at!

It is my first experience stay on Hostel. They picture is nice when I arrive there. I can not find easy the location. It is far from beach. The AC not work on the room. The toilet so bad smelt and dirty. They never clean it ....!!!

Bad Hostel

Staying here we paid very little for a private room, which had air conditioning and was super comfy. It was good to have a place to come back to out of the heat and humidity, especially for the price you pay. 

Only downfalls are the shower has very little pressure, as in only few drips come out and it takes an effort to properly wash yourself. 

When we stayed as well the power kept shorting out and some nights it would be right after we went to sleep only to wake up and realize none of our devices had been charged. When we went to tell the person at reception they did not speak english and we had showed them the power for every one upstairs was up and they had just looked and went back to their desk and sat down doing nothing, no phone call or anything. The next day another person was at the reception who was very nice and was very sorry, the power kept dropping out for 2 out of the 5 nights we stayed there. Wasn't the places fault as it turned out that someone had a faulty hair dryer apparently and would leave it next to water or something. Just would of been nice to have the person at reception had done something about it instead of making us wait an unknown amount of time, until another resident came along found the switch and turned it back on, (which helped but would turn off every half an hour). 

Other than that it was conveniently located in heart of Kuta on a quiet street! 

Good for traveling on a budget.

It's a normal place, no excess or lack of anything, but the attention is spectacular, we were in a private room with air conditioning, perfect, we had to leave early and they made us breakfast almost at dawn.

Guesthouse is normal.

8 day in here, you get breakfast but the menu doesn't change so if you boring you can get warung makan closes to hostel. The place was close legian street and kuta beach. So you can walk but the hostel not in street so you must come in and find it from maps. The room for 4 people have AC and toilet. This hostel is very low budget, friendly, and on afternoon room service for cleaning will be doing their job.

Low budget hostel near kuta and legian

I was in Gong Corner 2 the first night I arrived in Indonesia. I had been emailing the hostel staff from Spain and they were very quick to compete, they were very attentive. They have a transfer service to/from the airport at the same price as a taxi. The hostel is very normal. It is quite clean, but the beds are not very comfortable. The breakfast is normal, noodles, rice... I found ants in the pancake triangles... It's not bad as a stopover, but there are certainly better options!

Correcto Correcto

Very cheap guesthouse but very effortless. The room is tiled to the ceiling with ugly tiles and it smells a little unpleasant. The bathroom is also in need of adjustment. But the staff are nice and helpful. Stay August '14
