I stayed one night prior to boarding my live aboard. I would stay again. I was greeted warmly by the staff and given a welcome drink of guava juice…yum. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and how to walk there. The room was large, clean & has good storage. The ac worked well. Water, tea/coffee is in room. Seating area outside. I was not a fan of the breakfast sandwich, but that’s just my preference.

Clean and felt safe

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and had a lovely time. We stayed in the deluxe sea view room, which I highly recommend (I can't speak to the other rooms).

The highlight by far was the incredible view. The room has a small outdoor sitting area with two lounge chairs looking out at the sea. Priceless.

The room itself was large and very clean, no mosquitoes or other critters. The AC unit worked well even in the blistering heat. The bathroom is a bit funky, with only a curtain separating it from the bedroom, making it rather ..intimate with whoever you're traveling with. But I recommend embracing it as part of the experience :)

The location is good: easy walking to the waterfront and town center, but off a little so feels a little quiet. Note that it is near a mosque that does a long, loud, and early call to prayer - bring earplugs.

The hotel manager was an absolute delight: kind, friendly, and helpful. He gave us great restaurant recommendations, gave us additional filtered water on request, and created a nice, homey atmosphere. He also killed a wasp for us when it flew in during breakfast XD

Speaking of breakfast, it was great! Filling and tasty, and eaten in such a lovely atmosphere. 

would absolutely recommend the Blue Parrot for any adventurers visiting Labuan Bajo/Komodo who want a local experience.

Incredible views and kind hosts

From the time we arrived to the time we departed the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Also you will fall in love with the newest member of the staff Chico!!(puppy)
The hotel is very clean and has great WiFi anywhere you go within it. 
A great stay and would whole heartedly recommend the hotel.

Great hotel run by great people

Loved the Blue Parrot. I had the deluxe room which has million dollar sunset views on a beautiful terrace all to myself. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, toast, jam, fruit, yogurt and granola, plus tea or coffee. They served breakfast early on a few days when I went diving and also provided me a box for a day when I had to leave for an excursion before 6 am. Location is great up a hill just out of the main town. It's perhaps a 10-15 minute walk to the town center. Very easy to get a motorbike taxi (ojek) on the road into town. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.  Note that there is a mosque quite close and the call to prayer is loud at 4 am. But this is normal in Indonesia.

Amazing Sunset Views

Great jumping off point for in between our Komodo trip and flights. We stayed here the night before and night after our adventure tour. Clean, comfortable, great value and breakfast included! Views or harbor and great sunsets!

Great jumping off point

We stayed at the blue parrot pre and post boat trip to the Komodo Islands.
The Hotel is situated at the edge of town ( 10 min walk). A great location as there is’nt any moterbike, rooster or call to prayer noise. The views are amazing. 
I have to say I found the bed , bedding and pillows the most comfortable of any hotel I’ve stayed in.
Book well in advance as they only have 3 rooms.

A nice quiet hotel & location

Nice little hotel with a spectacular view of the bay. Fabulous sunsets! Pak Suni at reception is very helpful. There’s no food except for breakfast which is good if somewhat repetitive. 
The bathroom is a bit awkwardly designed though with the toilet facing the window and terrace. But otherwise comfortable. If you don’t like climbing steps, there are two sets to get to the ocean view room so be warned.

Glorious view!

Blue parrot is a BNB so dont expect hotel treatment. However, the room way exceed expectations if you only use it as an overnight stay place for your day tours. The ocean room we got was huge, had cold aircon, strong hot water shower, tea/coffee making facilities. You also get some decent breakfast which you can ask to pack if you leave early. However, this is again not a professionally run hotel, so some details are missing. Like the toilet not having a door so the room smells when you do your business. No pepper for your omelette. And returned semi wet laundry. It is though still a nice place to stay, with nice staff. 

Nice 3-room bnb run locally

値段があまりに安いので心配でしたが、他に比べて口コミも良かったのでここに宿泊しました。３つある部屋のうちオーシャンビューの部屋はひとつだけですが空いていたのでそこにしました。
外にあるベンチでリラックスしながら海を眺めるのは最高で、午前中は日差しも当たらず涼しく快適でした。
部屋はとてもシンプルですが広くてお洒落で、ベッドはキングサイズで大変快適でした。
港が近く、レストランへも歩いていける範囲にあるので便利です。夜は隣のバーの音楽が聞こえたりと初日はうるさく感じましたが、それ以前にヒンドゥー教のお祈りが爆音で流れる島なので、気にならなくなりました。
ホテルの方々は笑顔がよくとても親切です。朝ごはんはシンプルなものですが卵料理も美味しくて満足でした。ドライヤーがないので注意です。

Very quiet, simple but cozy room with nice view

Nice hotel

+ always someone at the reception desk

- no tv
- would be nice to have a fridge in the room
- the doors are draughty so any insect can come to room (it has happened at our stay) 

Anyway our stay was really nice there. ;)
