My partner & I stayed at the Jayakarta for 2 weeks in Feb, I found it to be very comfortable & convenient to everything. The room was clean the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was included everyday which was great they had a chef cooking your eggs however you wanted them. The pools were good, loved the swim up bar. Great location.
The staff were friendly & helpful. I would recommend it.

2 week stay

Hkping roomboy, was super friendly, security staff was awesome and always aware of the surrounding.. the location its a bit hard to find and tricky. Foods are so so.. the atmosphere was really nice, even though the sun was hot, but the air still fresh. Suggestions maybe the management could change some old furniture in the room..

Friedly staff

It desperately need a major renovation. Old, dark and outdated though occupying one of the prime beachfront location at Legian beach. Food offering is also underwhelming, so skip the buffet there and head somewhere nearby Seminyak where top notch food is aplenty.

Old and outdated

Perfect location. Beach one end, shopping the other. Close to everything you need. 
Came with family and friends ages 8 to 50 and there is something for everyone -
3 pools including a kids pool, swim up bar, table tennis, tennis court, pool tables(in Sunset Bar)
Staff are very friendly and very accommodating. Grounds are beautiful. 
Rooms are not perfect but they are very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again as would my family. 



Jayakarta 

Large hotel catering to families, not really suited to couples. Beach wise well located, being on the beachfront in Legian, which makes for good walks in both directions. If you want to get anywhere by vehicle, it is almost impossible. Traffic is gridlocked most of the day. Breakfast is included and offers a large variety. Loved the small juicy pineapple slices that were readily available at every breakfast were delicious. You can also get eggs cooked 3 ways, fried, scrambled or omelette, also tasty. We weren’t overly impressed with resort restaurants, preferring to eat in the many and varied restaurants in the streets behind. Room was clean and tidy and the two air cons worked a treat, even getting too cold at times. We stayed in the Residence rooms, near the street entrance. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but will choose somewhere away from Kuta/Legian/Seminyak next time. We don’t need the hustle and bustle anymore. Nicer and quieter beaches in Bali than here.

Traditional Balinese Holiday

A nice apartment at reasonable price, good facilities and resort grounds are right on the seafront or close to bars and restaurant on the other side. Situated within walking distance of Seminayak, Legion and Kuta

Booked a private villa in resort and had a pleasant stay, pity we didn't check it was rainy season.

Our party of three stayed at the Jayakarta bali Beach from the 2/02/2018 thru to the 9/02/2018. As we arrived @midnight on the 2nd of Feb, our intial impression visually would have to wait until the morning. On arrival at the main check in reception, we were ushered to the "apartment block" reception were unfortunatly, old mate at the desk came across as if he couldn't really be bothered with the whole situation. Upon checking our room, it was not as I'd requested as there was no way my Mother in Law at the the age of 67 could sleep on a couch bed for the week & i certainly wasn't going to either. 
I ended up going straight back to the Main reception & asking the very courteous guy behind the desk if I could pay for an upgrade or something along those lines. He offered me a look at room 512 & it was just what we were after. Three single beds, all good. Don't get me wrong, the apartment would have been fantastic if the beds had been up to the standard offered in 512. Anyway, all shifted to our new room & it was all good. Enough of the negative as the positives far out way this minute episode which couldn't been easily dealt with by someone who actually cared about his job.
Let’s start with the breakfast. The breakfast area is located near the main pools. It is also the main restaurant. All types of food is available such as fruit, bacon & eggs, cereal & Asian style. Coffee & tea available for free. I ordered a Latte each day. It is served from 6-10am each day.
The grounds are quite big &  there are several accommodation types available to suit everyone’s budget. The three pools are great. The two pools I used were a maximum depth of 1.5 meters. The rear of the property opens onto Legian beach & you just have to cross the road (which isn’t that busy) to get there. 
Our room (512) was very good. A little dated but everything was function able. Hot & cold water, A/C working well, beds were very comfy & enough room for the three of us. Shower is in the bath & bath is quite deep. Fridge works quite well & we were able to put  our mini mart beverages in it. Small complimentary water supplied each day & rooms were cleaned each day as well. We ate at the restaurant on the BBQ buffet night & it was well worth it. Free band playing a great selection of songs everybody could sing along too. Late check out (6pm) on our last day cost an extra $50 but well worth it. Location of the Hotel is very good. A short walk from JL Legian & a taxi ride to Kuta with the right company will cost about Rp10000. JL Padma, JL Melasti are all within walking distance of this hotel. There are several restaurants outside the hotel as well. Overall we had a very good stay here & it has everything you need for a great holiday. Legian Beach is out the back entrance of hotel & across the road. Have your guard up for the sellers, but that is another story.
There is no safe in room but a safety deposit box is availble to store passports & cash

Location is its sell point

This lady is a lyer. Do NOT stay in apartment 6211. The apartment is dirty and old. She tried to hit us up for more money (to pay cash to cleaners) after booking and during stay because we have 3 small children. She also said that they cleaned our sheets when clearly they didn't as there is still blood on them. The bed is as hard as rocks. The internet doesn't work as stated. We have travelled all our lives and never ever had we ever come such a bad host. The booking on air bnb clearly states 4 adults. We had 2 adults and 3 small children aged 8, 4 and 2yrs old and she is now trying to charge us during our stay cash to give to the cleaners. I would stay away and keep clear. They are rude and just assume and harass and call u lyers when the cleaners haven't done there job because they state they have known there cleaners longer. I have photo evidence. And have never in my life come across such a rude host. Has actually turned us off air bnb for good. Go elsewhere and don't waste your time.

Do not book 6211

Been coming here for 25 years and always get a room in the same block. As usual we requested our room when we booked in September but when we arrived on Friday night we were told it was occupied. No one seemed to know how it happened and there was 'nothing they could do'. We have been put in another room without the sea views we like until a better room is available. Still waiting after 5 nights. I have always looked forward to coming back here but i dont feel like a valued long term customer this time. There was no offer of any compensation or even a meal in the restaurant despite not getting what i paid for. A simple stuff up but one that has really disappointed us.  The first day of our holiday was a major letdown with a flight delay of 5 hours then our room given to someone else. It shouldn't be this hard. We pay good money and should get what we pay for.

Our room wasn't available. 

This was our 4th time back to the Jayakarta,  Bit disappointed that the pool next to the beach front restuarant  was closed and the block that we normally stay in was also closed for renovations.  But they hope to finish renovating in March 2018.
No complaints about the room - good comfortable bed - air conditioning great but had to wait for the hot water to get hot, which it did.  Great to see old faces again, some of the staff have been working for over 18 years plus at the Jayakarta.  Always smiling and willing to help. 
Also enjoy having a beer at sunset at frankies bar in front of the jayakarta - his dad jimmy also is a driver for where ever you want to go in Bali, such lovely helpful people.
