We chose a transit hotel not too far from the airport waiting for a night flight. The hotel is of a fairly high standard but is very frequented by locals. We found a restaurant practically the requisite for a noisy private party and it was a little difficult to dine, although fast, but the local management came to us offering us a dedicated space for dinner. The rooms are modern and functional, although rather anonymous and the atmosphere is not very exciting, but not even depressing. Due to the definitely laughable prices however for a very short stop, apart from the dinner problems, the choice was not wrong.

A noisy transit

Ah, Harper Perintis! I must say, it's a place that truly combines comfort and style, all wrapped up in an affordable package. 

When you walk into Harper Perintis, it's like being welcomed into a trendy, modern oasis right in the heart of Makassar. The design? Minimalistic, but with a warm touch. It feels up-to-date without trying too hard.

Let's talk about the rooms. They're comfy, clean, and just the right size. Not too cramped, not too spacious. The amenities are pretty spot on - you've got everything you need without clutter.

But what stands out to me is the staff. They've nailed that balance between being professional and personable. Whether you need help with local recommendations or extra towels, they've got your back. 

The restaurant there? Oh, it's a gem! Local and international dishes, cooked and served to perfection. Breakfast buffets are especially worth waking up early for.

And the location is a plus. It's close enough to the city center, but also far enough so you're not drowning in noise. 

To sum up, I'd say Harper Perintis is like a perfectly brewed cup of coffee - it's comforting, it's reliable, and it's got that little bit of kick you need. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

Your Trendy, Affordable Oasis in the Heart of Makassar

Spacious room, breakfast was excellent. Loved the swimming pool. Restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. Great ballroom as well. Easy to access and outside restaurant is nearby if you want to try outside food. Security very helpful, friendly as well as receptionist. Definetely will be the first choice to stay in Makassar. Thank you Harper Perintis! You deseved it..

Very Good Experience

Hotel, nice, clean, modern and comfortable.

Restaurant polar opposite.

Horrid service.  One of maybe 5 guest in restaurant and no service.. had to go find staff after wait 10 min to get more ice tea and same lster fot dessert.  Soup was scrap pieces of meat with tiny piece of bone..almost every bite spit out.

Disgusted.

Good hotel with bad restaurant

hotel harper is a hotel which is far from the city center but the thing this is not a weakness because this harper hotel has advantages in terms of cleanliness, service, management, quality of the hotel itself, has many ballrooms and friendly staff and the food also suits my taste buds.

The service is very good and comfortable, and other aspects such as the cleanliness of the toilets are very well maintained and the experience offered in the hotel is very memorable which is difficult to forget. More over, the presenters are very friendly and kind

the place is comfortable, clean and safe, the service of the employees is very good and friendly, the food is also delicious and easy for students' pockets, the location of the hotel is also close to the airport so for those who want to go home or go it's easy to reach. close to the police station, so it's very safe if something unexpected happens. basically it's really a recommendation, the meeting room is also comfortable and quite spacious, for a honeymoon with a partner it's also really suitable, don't forget to ask the wifi password to the employees, okay.
