Room must have been a Smoking room because the smell lingered.
No shower towels or toilet paper. No hot water shower.
Wifi unstable and power kept going out.
Breakfast was cereal and make your own jaffles so that was ok.

Not worth it

Across of the hotel there is convenience store, and there is a small restaurant located in front of the hotel. So that you don't have to worry if you need something during stay.

The lobby is used as a restaurant as well especially for breakfast. During our stay (2 nights) we got the same menu for breakfast : cereals, bread, jams, coffee and tea. It is make sense because the price is not high (210,000 IDR/night).

The room is clean, tidy and the AC works fine. Towel is clean and white. There is no hot water in bathroom.

Staff are friendly.

Good budget hotel @Manado

The first room we get was a smokers room and smelled terrible so we asked for another one. The second was also a smoking room, but the smell wasn't that bad. We had no towels and no hygiene paper in it, so we had to go ask for it. 
In the evening we had a series of short power failures. 
No warm water in the shower. 
WiFi works pretty well and the staff is very very friendly and helpful! 
We stayed here because our flight left at 06.15 in the morning. The room was okay for one night. The price absolute okay (190.000/night). 

Basic

Price isn't bad for Menado. Breakfast better than expected actually got cereal and jams and pb, not just bread. Room quiet and dark. Ac wkrked good. Western toilets. Good wifi in lobby. Cheap rooms on fifth floor.  Menado kind of spread out so location didn't make much difference.  Would recommend

Pretty good

I cannot complain - for the equivalent of less than USD$17 per night, it is clean and the AC works, and we have extended our stay multiple times because it is exactly what we need. It is located a bit outside of the city center, and if you do not speak Bahasa then it can be slightly difficult to get around - but considering it is even noisy outside here, I'm glad we are not in the city center - this is calmer. The WiFi is only available in the lobby, not in the rooms. The front desk staff try to be helpful, but their advice isn't the best. I was looking for a pharmacy and there is one right down the street, but they directed us towards the MegaMall - which is where they also directed us for food. We found a coffee place just down the street from the hotel which we frequent (also not recommended by the hotel staff) which is in a big orange building about 3 mins walk from the hotel to your right as you leave the main entrance.
