Had a wonderful stay at Ibludan for 10nights in May 2023. 
Sophie & Hella (the owners) + staff were so lovely and accommodating. 
Rooms are large, super comfortable bed and pillows, outdoor shower was superb. The pool was always the perfect temperature, surrounded by a lush garden. 
Breakfast was the perfect size and so tasty! 
Location was great, lots of street food within walking distance and a great base for day trips around Lombok.

Staying here during moto GP, price its still reasonable during such a high demand season 👍🏻. The owner was very kind and friendly.  They preparing breakfast box for us coz we have early morning flight. Next time if i ever visiting lombok again would love to stay here again

Love the short stay here 😊

I could not recommend Ibludan highly enough! Sophie and her family are so welcoming and lovely, I felt so at home during both of my stays (I have stayed twice now). The rooms are super clean and spacious and the bathrooms are lovely and tropical. The shower is amazing 😍 The homemade breakfast is really yummy and the hotel is in a great location between Mataram and senggigi. The pool is set in the middle of a beautiful garden. If you are planning a trip to either Mataram or Senggigi, you shouldn’t miss staying here! It’s the best!! X

We love staying here and will always come back!

Very friendly service, the best breakfast I've had on the island anywhere (including five star hotels), and a beautiful jungle of a garden surrounding a refreshing swimming pool. Really excellent value for money. And if you like the idea of traditional Sasak food (also great value for money), Sophie will show you where to buy from a local Ibu who is famous across the island. Her stall is just around the around (5 mins walk). Oh...and a fridge full of cold beers!

One of my highlights in Lombok

We arrived at night around 8.30 pm.  The owner greeted us at the parking area, and helped to carry our luggage to the room while explaining the facilities and the surrounding.  She was so welcoming that despite a tiring day I felt refreshed with her energy and warmth!

Like most have mentioned, the place was very well kept, serene and very clean!  The garden, the pool, the room, the huge bed, the shower, the breakfast, and the polite staff were all excellent. There was no in-room fridge/kettle, however there was a pantry nearby which we can use without hassle.

I especially loved the homemade breakfast - the granola, bread and jam were very delicious.  I felt like having a second helping every time.  Pity we only stayed here for 2 nights, wish I could return one day.  It was also interesting to know where the name Ibludan derived from.  

The nearby Tanjung Bias beach was a short stroll away where you can find a lot of stalls by the beach.  We had our dinner there and the food was surprisingly finger licking good.

I am so glad I chose this hotel among many others.  Thank you to Sophie and the ever helpful son and the rest of the staff who made our stay memorable.  I wish the hotel success and continue to become the best among the best.

Hospitality At Its Best!

Me and my wife stayed at Ibludan for 4 nights and it was fantastic. I have always believed that its the hosts that make your stay wonderful and one cannot get better than Sophie and Hella.... If you ever plan to visit this undiscovered paradise that is Lombok I can 100% recommend Ibludan. Thank You so very much Sophie, Hella, Dan and Lulu for making our trip such a memorable one......

Review

We loved everything about Ibludan - so much so that we stayed five nights and then came back and stayed another six! Sophie and Hella, their family and wonderful staff make you feel like the most welcomed guests. They have a passion for Lombok, offered terrific recommendations and were always willing to assist in any way with anything we needed. This included arranging motorbikes for us to tour around Lombok. 

They have created a tranquil haven with beautiful tropical gardens attracting butterflies and lovely birds with a gorgeous large pool. With lots of seating around the pool, it’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon relaxing. 

The guest rooms are excellent - extremely well thought out and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom and special touches like a complimentary reusable bag for shopping or groceries. 

The granola breakfast might be the best I’ve had in Indonesia, or anywhere else! Wifi is also terrific. There’s free cool drinking water available a time and a communal “mini bar” to shop from so you have drinks on hand - super handy if you like a beer or wine. 

For food, there are lots of warungs nearby - especially on the beach at Tanjung Bias just 300m or so away. We loved the location just south of Sengiggi and close to Mataram - it is fantastic spot to explore around the beautiful coastal area. 

I couldn’t imagine a nicer, more relaxing place to stay. Just wonderful. We can’t wait to return!

Exceptional hospitality 

It was our second visit in Ibludan Hotel and we can strongly recommend this place without any hesitation. Sophie and Hella plus their staff are super friendly, the place itself feels like a small oasis, rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast is tasty. :)

A beautiful oasis

The Ibludan Hotel and its staff are great. The rooms are spacious with a patio for viewing the jungle garden. The breakfast and coffee is some of the best included hotel breakfast I had over a few months in Asia. The pool was outstanding with an honor bar, which I love. The staff assisted us in booking a driver for a few days to explore beaches and waterfalls. Ridwan, the driver, was awesome, spoke impeccable English, and was a fun dude to spend a few days with.

It may seem a bit removed from town and it is, but get a scooter or download the grab app. Its secluded nature is part of its allure and charm.

My wife and I would love to come back and highly recommend the hotel, its staff, and Ridwan for exploring the island.

Relaxing visit in the scenic garden

Loved it, loved it, loved it. I can't praise the Ibludan Hotel enough. Sophie and Hella were the nicest, sweetest and most helpful hosts/owners. They have the most beautiful kids, and the most friendly and helpful staff you can ever find. 
Ibludan's pool is phenomenal and their rooms are stunning. The bathroom is everything you would ever want. 
While they don't serve food, there is a simple but delicious breakfast, and you can get tea/coffee and water for free throughout your stay. They also have the most perfect reading corner/hut.
In general, we didn't get enough time in Lombok and through chatting with Sophie, we're convinced that we need to make another trip soon.
Of course, we're going t head straight for the Ibludan when that happens, because I still can't stop talking about my stay here :)
