the team is the heart of this nice homestay! they are so sweet, the breakfast is wonderful and the rooms and beds are cosy. we stayed over two months ;) come if you want to have a nice, chilled place to stay in the middle of kuta! they help you out with everything you need <3 loved it!

Please do not expect the kind of facilities you would expect in other hotels ; this is a simple but wonderful low keyed accommodation. In fact I would say its simplicity is what makes it attractive. You are surrounded by greenery and just outside are rows of eateries and a supermarket. I enjoyed sitting at night on the verandah outside my room and reading a book . It was quiet and peaceful. Occasionally you get the Muslim calls to prayer by the muezzin as there is a mosque nearby. Still this adds to the cultural immersion of staying there. The staff are friendly and polite. For the price paid, this is a good place to stay.

A simple stay .

Imeldas is a small simple place with the basics covered and a nice little place to sit in front if the hammocks everywhere are not your choice.  We stayed for four nights and we found the people there always quickly responding to requests and also very friendly and happy to converse.  
We rented a scooter there (60K) with no hassles and managed to get around pretty easily to beaches in both directions.  Great food in many places nearby and around 10-15 minutes walking to the beach.  
For budget long term travelers like us, this place is perfect.  Wifi is not spectacular but generally works.  Same with AC.  Breakfast simple.  Can't get much better value for money!  Many thanks for the friendly hospitality!

EXCELLANT Hospitality and Guest Service!

Good value for money, the rooms are adequate with large beds and a fan. Bathroom is spacious, shower is cold but for the price you pay its to be expected. Breakfast options were good and they deliver it to your room and clean up your dishes for you, also you can make tea and coffee all day for free. Location is good, situated right by the strip of restaurants and near the beach, also a short trip by taxi to some very nice near by beaches nearby! Theres also a little stall really close that does Nutella crepes

We stayed four nights at this property and we would recommend anyone to avoid making such a big mistake. 

Room is quite simple but functional: bathroom is well equipped. However, overall cleanliness could be better. The very big issue is the non-existing hot water. How is this possible in 2017 to rent a room with no water-heater: we even found them at 5,000m in Himalayan guesthouses.

We naively asked the owner "if it was normal not to have any hot water in the room". He answered "yes". Then we told him it was not specifically mentioned, neither on the website or in the booking confirmation. His only reaction was getting nervous and frustrated.

From this precise moment, staff completely ignored us: from not greeting us in the morning to not thanking us at the check-out, even when we paid for our room (I mean, we are not begging for extra attention: but a "thank you" when you make a commercial exchange is the least you can get).

Other issues met during our stay that have not been reported directly to the owner, since there was no communication at all:
1. All staff and family stack all day in a pergola in the middle of the garden, right facing the rooms. It is noisy and problematic for intimacy.
2. They offer the guests using the hamacs. Impossible since they are perpetually used by the staff and family.
3. Wifi is average (good all day, not working properly at night) but the fact that you need to enter the password every time you want to access the router is a bit annoying and old school.

Pancake cooked at the breakfast is excellent. Bed is confortable. However, be prepared to wake up at 4:00am when the muezzin starts the prayer call (that last 30 min): of course you get used to it when traveling through Indonesia. However, here the mosque is very very close to the property.
