I booked the large family room (a small traditional house above the hotel) and did not regret it. It was incredible! 
I liked the decor, the spacious bedroom with access to the bathroom, the hidden bedroom at the top with an unreal view, the huge living room and private terrace. 
I slept very well (wifi and air conditioning were great).
The staff is wonderful (big up Antonio), attentive and available. I recommend the sunsets overlooking the ocean <3.

Yes the steps are tough, book if you are in good shape (it's worth it, really). 
I love monkeys, I've seen them!
Be careful to close the doors and windows and everything will be fine.

The little minus: 
I came home one day after a crazy swim (the ocean is at your feet) to realize that there was no more water, impossible to take a shower...the problem was solved in less than 'one hour.

Absolutely stunning!

We stayed at The  Inn Possible for 4 nights. We have one floor for us and nice balcony. There are monkies running around. Service was: I dont care -style. 
To get there from the village is a nightmare. There are hundreds of stairs down and when you think to be there. You have the worst stonestairs to the hotel. 
Beach was ok, but nothing compare to Uluwatu Beach. 
Rooms were ok. But the location is worst I have ever seen.

Not what you booked - watch your step

The room was a dog box, it was tiny, and the aircon only worked when you stood underneath it. You can't open a window or doors for fear of monkeys coming in, which wouldn't be a problem if the aircon was working. It was a dangerous 25 steps up and down to get there, some of those through a construction zone and the first part through a dirty dark back alley. Great photography on the rooms coz that's certainly not what they really look like. Shabby, dirty, all up unpleasant. You would think that after 250 steps the least you would have is a fridge and a cold drink waiting in your room.....nope not even that. All up a shocking experience, I checked in, then checked out again and they even tried to charge me a no show fee.

Dangerous, Hot, unhelpful

Me and my friend stayed at the Inn Possible for one night. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast wasnt included but we ordered poached eggs and avacado in their cafe and we were treated to a very big breakfast at an affordable price. The place has a laid back atmosphere with hammocks, a pool to lounge in and surf boards for hire. They also let us check out later at no extra cost as our flights were late. I'd definitely recommend a stay here. 

Uluwatu

Be really careful to The Inn Possible...
Photos are beautiful but it can be misleading...
The access to the resort is horrible and I measure my words. If you suffer from knees, ankles or breathing problems, do not book there.
You will be very surprised with the access of that resort. Barely can access by car, you will have to walk 50 meters in a 1 meter wide corridor, then going down the cliff on beton steps carrying your bags or luggages ! Thought it was my last day.
1)Tv in the bedroom ? "Oh sorry sir the Tv is not connected"....SO WHY YOU PUT A TV?
If Tv not connected then don't attach a Tv on the wall with cords etc....it's ugly and unnecessarily. 
2) Breakfast included...super basic. If you want the nice breakfast or those you can see in the photos online then you need to PAY.
Oh by the way, in the breakfast include it's only Tea...coffee is chargeable...huh why !
During our holidays only watermelon include in the breakfast....I don't drink watermelon so what am I doing ? Sir we can give you a glass of water.....wow that's generous !
So basically everything we wanted was additional.
Overall great property because of the location and the view but you shouldn't overcharged for these reasons...you consider yourself a 3*, fair enough for the view. but that's all you deserve.
The access, the lack of services, the lack of flexibility of the staff doesn't make you a 3*.
Booking.com you need to review that property quickly.

Great but terrible access...and you have to live it to say "terrible" !

The hotel is unique, with its location right by the sea. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The only downside, the strenuous staircase on arrival. Otherwise a great hotel! The beach is also top... few people there, so you can relax great here.

Right by the sea, great staff.

It's not super chic and picobello clean, but keep Bali-style. Down by the water right next to the best fish restaurants and a crazy sunset. On the other hand, monkeys came through an invisible hole in my bedroom, swept through the suitcase, put on boxes, and packed my little medicine pack (after that must have been a monkey party in the jungle..), 70 euros. We were warned and there were signs hanging around that you can't let anyone lie down.

Hammer view, rough road

We had a lovely stay here, it’s simplistic and beachy with the some of most incredible views we have seen in Bali. Staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean and nicely done. Food was good and reasonably priced. 

The living area/lounge is the perfect place to sit with a juice, a book and watch the surfers! 

Inn-possibly good views! 

Pros: Magnificent location, Friendly laidback staff, Beautiful views, Charming, Very Simplistic, Off the beaten path, Remote and private, and of course, Bingin Beach -- some of the best surfing in Bali

Cons: As with almost all the beaches in Uluwatu this beach is at the bottom of a large cliff, a very large cliff.  It is a bit of a trial getting down the steep steps to the bottom (literally multiple of rest sessions - it's a long way down and even longer going back up).  There is no hotel access from the road up above.  You must haul all your luggage by hand down the dozen steep flights of stairs to the beach below, then walk across the beach to your hotel.  It's rather miserable (as far as hotel access and luggage is concerned) and if you book excursions, drivers have a hard time finding you, because they too have to hike all the way down try to find your hotel and then find you.  It is also a two star hotel, meaning very basic amenities and services with very small rooms.

That said, It has some of the best surfing waves that just go on and on forever!  It's fun to watch the pros out there.  The beach itself is nice enough with several spots to get a drink and such (no credit cards).  If you want to totally escape, enjoy immediate beach access and surfing and bask in endless views this is the best spot on the Bingin Beach.  If you aren't here to surf, personally, it's not worth the long descent/ascent and difficulty parking.  There are many other more assessable beaches to visit or stay somewhere up above and day trip to the beach?

Perfect for the right person

We stayed one week at the Inn Possible Cliff house and it’s been heaven! 
We initially booked only one night in King Suite #1. The view on the ocean is spectacular, you feel like god when standing on the bed in front of the ocean. Then, we stayed in temple room #9 which is great, same comfort with a more modest view on the ocean (small window).

The rooms are very comfortable and furniture is very new.

The manager and all the staff are so kind and they always want to make you happy. 

The food is very good. We loved in particular the lady’s banana pancake! Some times it takes longer than expected or they took time to understand the orders. It did not matter to us as we were very relaxed, but if you’re impatient, it may matter to you. 

Finally, the beach and the waves are perfect if you like surfing. We have been surfing 6 hours every day, it was so great!
