Ketty didn’t look like the photos at all. 
When we first arrived I had no idea where reception was and it was the restaurant, they were really rude. 
Too much sunlight in the room so its hard to sleep in. The TV doesn’t work, it had 6 channels and all weren’t working. 
The door of our room was super dodgy. 
It’s a shared balcony upstairs. 
Bed is a rock and so our pillows, didn’t even bother to put a quilt cover on the quilt.  
No fridge. 
No soaps or anything. 

Only upside is, it’s a nice view, close to single fin and other cool places, also the restaurant has good food. 

I wouldn’t stay here again, probably would rather stay somewhere with not as nice view and atleast a comfortable room for the same price or cheaper. 

Very Average. 

My friend and i came here to eat because Single Fin had no seats available. First off, they’re expensive, but i assumed because of the views. My friend and I ordered the beef burger. When it came out, i was shocked. It didn’t look like a burger. Looked like spam or mystery meat. It was gross. I took it out. I ordered a milk shake and it tastes like a chocolate milk slushi. The food made my tummy hurt and the food in Bali usually makes me feel good. I would NOT eat here. But the view is beautiful. I would probably just get a beer and watch the sunset next time. 

I came here to eat 

When we arrived at Ketty we told them we were looking to stay for four nights. The rooms were dirty, bathrooms were unclean but we decided to stay since we were here over the Uluwatu CT and most accommodation was booked. Two days into our arrival we were told that we said we would only be staying two days, and we had to leave because more bookings had arrived. It turned out that they were charging the newcomers Rp300 000 more than us, and they wanted the higher price. After much arguing they said they would let us stay for an extra night but we had to pay Rp100 000 more per night. They also rented us a bike that had a broken indicator and mirror. Definitely not worth the hassle- skip it and find somewhere else. 

Very untrustworthy- avoid 

Worst food in Indonesia. Waited 2 hours for club sandwich. Completely raw chicken. Expensive, small portions. Terrible tasting food. Unhelpful staff. Charge to use toilet even though we payed for meal. 

Complete disgrace. Do not come here.

WORST PLACE IN INDONESIA

If you want one of the best views of the Uluwatu surf break, then this is the place. All rooms face down to the break, and have a balcony or patio area, fridge inside, and although the rooms are pretty basic, they are kept clean. They do have an onsite warung with a viewing deck, where you can enjoy a cold beer, but the deck needs an upgrade, and cannot compete with some of the other bars and restaurants just on their doorstep. 
I also feel at that price, some coffee facilities in the room would be good, and coffee was not available from the warung till they open. For surfers getting up early for the early session, coffee might be very important, but this is just my opinion.
Overall a comfortable stay, the staff are friendly and the rooms clean. It’s the view that makes it a good choice for the area.

great views

Such a great location for surfers. Accommodation is basic but very clean. Taps in the bathroom are old and corroded. It was the 2nd time I've stayed at Ketty, each time for a week and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. It's a 3 minute walk to the cave to surf at Ulu.

We stayed at Ketty homestay for 1 night. The staff were extremely rude and the room was disgusting. The air-conditioner didn't work properly at all so the room was extremely hot. No toilet paper, mould and the room stunk like mould and chemicals. The key in the door was extremely hard to take out making it very difficult to lock the door. The location is great for the surf but it's loud at night as its right next to single fin. The light on the front deck couldn't be turned off so it was very very bright until about 3 or 4 am when somehow the light went out. Everyone else's deck lights were on all night too. Very frustrating. The breakfast was pretty crap and the plates and cutlery were dirty. You only have to get a sneak peak at the condition of the kitchen to realise it's not going to be a good meal! We had three people so had to pay for an extra bed. They didn't give us an extra sheet, doona or blanket. They literally just gave us a mattress with the bottom sheet on it! Disgusting!!!  

Overall, it was way overpriced and there is Bluepoint just across the road for not much more money but excellent rooms, service and pool! Or just a bit further down the road is Sandatmas for less than half the price and absolutely amazing!!! 

If they had just had nicer staff that we're onto it and clean rooms - the location of this place is pretty epic! 

That being said the only good thing about this place was the wifi! But it's not worth staying there just for that - there is plenty of good wifi around, even at single fin!

Worst Accommodation!

Rooms are very basic but have great views of the beach. We booked this room because of its location (right next to Single Fin) and its relatively cheap price compared to other hotels. We only stayed for one night so our stay was okay, I would not like to stay there any longer. When checking in, staff were unaware of my booking (even though I had paid for it 2 weeks in advance). The room had a very strong smell of bleach which was making all of us cough and feel sick. There was mould on the roof, the taps were rusty, and the "extra bed" we paid for was a mattress on the ground. This mattress also made my friend itchy so 3 of us had to sleep in the same bed anyway.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheapish place to stay for one night in Uluwatu right next to Single Fin, then this place will be okay. I would not recommend for a long stay.

Good Location, Rooms need work!

rooms need work done on them. Bathrooms rusty, dirty despite being new. Rooms never get made up and towels arent replaced. Bed is firm and you dont get full linen , Room didnt come with toilet paper or soap. Recycling items are piled up at front ie bottles cans etc. not real safe. dirty place. REally needs some TLC. Great potential. Wont be back.
