We stayed at the Ramboo Homestay for 3 Nights. The owners are lovely and very friendly. They will help you out if you neet something, for example a surfboard or a Motorbike etc.
We told them that we would like to go to Gili Meno after this Resort. So the owner offered us to book it for us. 
We agreed. 
She bookt a Transfer to the Harbour thats 1 1/2 hour away from this Homestay. And a ferry that will bring us directly to Gili Meno. 
The costs were 500‘000 Indonesian Rupiah per person. That was a little bit expensive in my opinion. So as we booked we started our way to the Harbour. 
As we arrived there the driver told us yes there‘ s the boat and it brings you to gili trawangan (the island next to gili meno) 
We cleared it up and told him that we booked to Gili Meno. He answered with yes but gili meno has no harbour. So we have to go to gili Trawangan and take an other little boat to reach our final destination. They also told us that this little boat costs only 25‘000 Rupiah
We had to whait at the Harbour for about a half an hour and as the ferry arrived they told us to leave our backpacks on the roof of the ferry, where many employes startet stacking many backpacks. 
As we arrived at gili Trawangan we had to realize that one of the employes that stacked the backpacks must have robbed my friend 600‘000 rupiah out of his bag.
Then as we searched for the little boat to finally get to our hotel, no one would ship us to the other island thats about 300-400Meters away for under 100‘000 Rupiah. So we had to pay 100‘000 again for each person. They sayed they will drop us off right in front of our hotel. They didn‘t. We were droped off just somewhere around this island. And we found out that gili meno has a harbour too! 
The Ferry at the harbour in bali costs only 200‘000 per person if you book it there. So im asking myself if it is really so expensive that we had to pay almost a million rupiah just for the taxi. 
With the Ramboo Homestay Resort is everything ok, it has a big pool in the centre of the resort and its very clean as well.
But i have to appeal to the owner that he or she defenetly has to look for their contats if they‘re booking for any other guest again.

Good Hotel, but bad Booking for our next trip go Gili Meno

This place was so heartwarming. Simple, but good and very lovely. The included breakfast was fresh and nicely arranged. The bike renal fair pricing. The ambiente with the pool and the good burgers.. we extended our stay. And of cause we would love to stay again!

Beautiful spot and fair pricing

I spend 5 weeks at the Rambo Homestay. The family that runs this place is very welcoming. I stayed in one of the bungalows. The room itself is pretty basic, king size bed, fan, bedside table, thats it. Each room has a terrace with a small table and two chairs. The bathroom you have to share with someone else. But this was not a problem for me. Good tip: If you have something to eat in the room, close it very well in a plastic bag. Otherwise you will have a army of ants in the room!
The homestay is close to many great surf spots and local restaurants. Padang Padang Beach, Bingin, Dreamland is only a 3-5min scooter drive away.

I can highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere close to a lot of beaches and staying within a certain budget.

Very good homestay

Best place to stay if you are on the budget! Amazing rooms, cheap meals all day, perfectly located if you have a motorbike and really nice and familiar staff!! The pool and the snooker table are great and the environment is really relaxed! I really recommend it! Had really nice days in Rambo's homestay!

Overall the homestay is nice. The staff was really helpfull and friendly and they cooked good breakfasts for us. We staid in the bungalow but we were not that happy with it. The shower only had cold water and we needed to share the bathroom with the people at the first floor from the bungalow. We didn't read anything about that on the website. We also slept at the ground floor and we could hear the people on the first floor walking around which gave quite a lot of noise. Furthermore, the homestay offers airport transfer but the driver asked 300000 rp for it which was too overpriced. So don't take airport transfer from the homestay!  Overall it was nice but with some complaints.
