Unfortunately, the accommodation was inadequate. The bathroom was a single disaster. It was so dirty. It was really incredible. Unfortunately, there was no hot water for showering. The bed was okay. I don't know how it got a rating of 7.6 on booking.com. It deserved a rating of 2.

Inadequate

Our reservation had not been taken into account. The photos were misleading. The room was very dirty and unprepared (when the manager came in he quickly returned the sheet that had remained open...). A smell of excrement regularly invaded the room. No mosquito nets while there are openings in the walls. We cancelled the second night.

Standard room to avoid!

I had booked a lovely-looking guesthouse elsewhere with a pretty garden but it turned out to be suffocatingly hot, had cold water only, and no wifi connection, so I moved to Byndasya and was really happy there. I took a room with air-conditioning and hot water (for a cheaper rate than the place I'd just left) and I was so relieved to sleep and wake up in cool air. There was also wifi and though it didn't work well all the time, they always tried to solve the problem quickly. The room was spacious with a cupboard and shelves for storing things The breakfast has several options: eggs of different types, banana pancakes, or Indonesian-style, in addition to fresh fruit. I found the omelette especially tasty. Nanda, apparently the owner's nephew, was a friendly and good-hearted young man helping out at the homestay for the summer

There was no pretty garden, swimming pool, and it frankly was not a particularly aesthetic place. But it was quite conveniently located, well off the main road, so I could not hear all the traffic noise. The one negative remark I have concerns cleanliness. When I checked in, the bathroom sink area and floor were not very clean. Despite asking once for someone to clean the bathroom, it seemingly was never done. No soap was provided. During the five nights I stayed there, the towel and sheets were never changed, the room not swept, and the bed not made up. I really think this could be improved.

Despite this drawback, I still give Byndasya high marks because it was far better than the guesthouse I moved from, and there were far fewer roosters crowing in the vicinity!

Convenient reasonably-priced guesthouse in Pemuteran

We rented two rooms and both were great! No swimming pool but a very nice place, room, big bed and Italian shower on top! But above all our host was adorable and helpful! That makes all the difference.

That's perfect!

The worker seem to be friendly, but we didn't get an introduction to the homestay.
Our sheets were very dirty, the bathroom wasn't clean and smelled. 
Some of the rooms are in the parking lot or next to the owners' living space, so there isn't a lot of privacy. They turned off the wifi at 11pm and served cold breakfast.
There are a lot of great homestays in Permuteran which are in the same location and same price range that offer way more value for money.

Not good at all

We really had a good stay here :) the town is packed with places to stay which are expensive and we found a very good priced room here that was clean, tidy and had a fan. The host was very helpful and told us everything we needed and also organized a taxi for us. I would recommend this to anyone for aure

Really good place

We stayed 4 nights in Bynda Sya Homestay in October 2012. 
Its not easy to find, but if you got there you feel comfortable in a warm and friendly environment for a much better price than most of the other accommodation. 

Bynda Sya does not offer a big garden or a pool, but very clean and nice rooms with a small terrace. 
They offer rooms with and without A/C and warm water. 
We took a standard room without A/C and without warm water. A fan is of cause provided. 
In the morning we got breakfast with great Java Coffe or Tee, and a Pancake and some fruits.  

There might be some language difficulties, as the owners do not speak well English, but this is not a real problem, as they there best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 

The location 3 minutes walk away from the main street. There is a Sign on the street next to a shop/caffe opposite of the mosque. The mosque is far enough, that you will no hear it. 

We had a wonderful time in Pemuteran and would always get back to Bynda Sya when coming back.
