Simple Hotel located close to Batukaru Mount. It has complete facilities inside the room and hotel public facilities. We love the location, spectacular view, fresh air and amazing jogging track around the village. Tropical rain forest behind and rice paddies view at front....
The only thing that we had to wait for 1 hour after arrive at 3 pm to get room key. Staff need more knowledge how to welcoming guest and serve guest. Hotel need more effort in Marketing and Management.  Food prices are extremely high. 
But over all we would love to return.....

Fresh air, Amazing view

Very welcoming staff, clean room with lovely views. Easy walking distance to the temple and rice fields.
Pretty swimming pool also with excellent views.
Room was spacious and had good bathroom facilities.
Restaurant serves Indonesian and western food.
A good 'get away from it all' venue



Lovely peaceful hotel

Great hotel at the countryside area. Bring outside food will be charged 50% of its value. However, hotel's restaurant provides reasonable prices for the foods included Indonesian and western foods. During the stay, blackout happened for around 2 hours, it affected the whole area around there. So we have our "candle dinner" at the restaurant, the hotel was still able to serve our dinner with no electricity. Although only standing fan was provided in the room, it didn't cause any problem as the surrounding temperature was cool enough.

Hotel in the middle of the rice fields. Great view. Large room without air conditioning. Careful staff. We tested the restaurant. Very good. Good lunch. I didn't have time to test the pool.

Just one stop on my way before I went to visit Jatiluwih's rice terraces. I arrived late at 7pm, by scooter, they were matching for check-in and dinner. They took my bag and escorted me to my room. They waited for me to take a shower and prepare me properly to get baptized and put on the table. I was greeted with a fresh pastry juice, professionalism and kindness. Mailli was a great room, big mosquito net, comfortable bathtub overlooking the pool and rice paddies. A quiet one. The comfortable internet bed is stable. And the lunch included will last me the day! Three small guests so the hotel for all:) I saw that Judith had a perfectly nice and beautiful name for me.

It's perfect.

The hotel is ideally located in the middle of the Jatiluwih rice paddies, but it would have to be a little renovated, it seems to have been left a little abandoned... there is not much missing. It is also a good place to visit the rice paddies. We had a perfect guide, ALIT, to ask the hotel.

Well-placed hotel but to be renovated

During our tour of Bali, we also spent one night at the Hotel Batukaru. The hotel is located in the middle of the rice fields. The rooms, pool, facilities were generally clean. The breakfast is poor but goes well. Since there is nothing far and wide around the hotel, you can only stay at the hotel for dinner. This was very tasty, but it was very tasty.

Tour of Bali

Located close to the hiking trails, the hotel is very quiet and nestled in the greenery with a clear view. The rooms are quite large and comfortable, but the bathrooms require renovation.

Lost in the Wild

We stayed for one night and enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but still not far away from the temple, waterfall or the famous rice fields. The rooms are very clean, the view is amazing and the staff very friendly. The road to the hotel is a bit adventures but it's not to far from the main roads and sights.

Great quite place in the middle of nowhere

This isnt an upmarket hotel, so dont expect a 5-star establishment. It is a nice place to stay, staffed by very nice people, with good prices, in a great area, with beautiful countryside, and some nice activities (walks, treks, temples etc.) in the vicinity. I booked by email and followed up to a mobile number as the local numbers have problems. I got a good price ... 450K per double room (5 rooms), and I arranged a guide for a climb of Batukaru starting 5am the next morning. All arranged by reception.

The rooms are clean, have hot water showers and a bath, and TV. They dont have AC, altough some (but not all) have a fan. So it can be a bit warm early in the night, until the outside nightime temperature cools the room.

The food is a mix of simple Indonesian (NasiG and MieG type dishes), and western. They have plenty of very cold beers. So the bar and restaurant certainly does the trick. 

We climbed Batukaru and returned very late during the day, c.5pm, so we volunteered to pay a small extra amount for the rooms. No problem ... everything was very easy and very smooth with the reception.

I would definitely recommend this hotel as a reasonably priced relaxed option to stay in the Batukaru-Jatiluwih area.
