We chose it because we saw photos of rice terraces, but photos don't show the true beauty of Sidemen rice fields, it was only when I was sitting on the balcony of BukitLuah looking at this fascinating view that the beauty of the terraces really hit me. The owner’s family is very friendly, with smiles, good service, good food and clean rooms. The terraces are surrounded by green trees. Sitting on the balcony is cool and breezy, comfortable and relaxed. We will visit Sidemen again but we won't be looking anywhere else, next time we'll still stay in #BukitLuah.

Good price with a clean room and amazing view

I loved my stay at Bukit Luah! Of all the places I stayed in Bali this was by far the best. The family is very attentive and helpful. The room, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the view, everything was perfect! I would definitely come back! I highly recommend!

the best place in Bali

I picked Bukit Luah because I saw photos of rice fields, but photos can't show the true beauty of this place. I could just sit on the terrace and look at the amazing view. The host is very friendly and nice. Tasty food and a clean room. If I ever go to Bali and Sidemen again, I won't look for another place to stay—I will book directly Bukit Luah

Great guest house 

This place is the most amazing place I have ever been, the room had the most beautiful views to the rice terraces, and the owners Kalia, Joda and Komang were amazingly kind people, they also prepared dinner in my private terrace from the room it was fantastic, I wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked

Most amazing views ever, super comfortable bed

We will not forget our beautiful stay here, where Made and her family made us feel so loved and at home. She is honestly just the best, most welcoming, and gentle person who went out of her way to make us comfortable and happy (like picking aloe Vera for my sunburn from her garden!).
The views are so peaceful and breathtaking and life moves at a slower pace than many other places in Bali so it is a perfect space to wind down in and explore - and the food is well-priced and delicious! 
We have plans to come back with our families and friends and cannot wait for that time! 
Thank you, thank you, thank you - could not recommend more! 

A beautiful hideaway with the best company ❤️

I arrived at Bukit Luah a few hours ago and it is stunning!  

A nice welcome, with a cup of tea or coffee.  The room is gorgeous - pretty four-poster bed, clean tiled floor, huge clean bathroom, drinking water cooler in the room, hairdryer, towels, air con and floor-to ceiling windows on 2 sides with French windows to the terrace.  

I have my own large terrace with coffee table and chairs in addition to a table to eat at - this is where meals are served and I can choose what time.  It is so peaceful and the view is amazing.  I am in Yoga Room (the top floor) which I guess is the best view of the 3 rooms, though the others are undoubtedly good too.  You hear the sound of children playing and distant sounds.  You see people working in the rice paddies below and the mountains as a backdrop to the panarama. 

There is a cute outdoor area with little pond and shrine too.  You can walk down to the river or up the hill for even more views! 

The actual town of Sideman is a few minutes' drive away and if you want to relax in nature, this is a lovely place for you.  It is great value too!  Highly recommended!

Relax with peaceful gorgeous elevated view of rice paddies & mountains - spectacular!

Everything about this place is just awesome. Great place, great staff, great food, great view!! Very tranquil, landed up extending our stay by three extra nights. Had an amazing stay here we will definitely be back!!

That place is magic, only few steps to rice fields and river, rooms are new, big, with good furniture and nice terrace with Agung view. The staff is very kind and their food is yummy for a fair price. Definitely the best place I have been so far in Bali

Best stay in Bali so far

We spend three nights there, it was like paradise. At the time there was two room, one down and one upstairs, we slept upstairs, and had a fantastic view on the rice fields and also on the Agung volcano. The staff is adorable and very helpful, they reached us how to ride a scooter ! They rented one, perfect to explore the countryside. The food is delicious, they cook very well. The room was clean, very comfortable, perfect.

Wonderful

Super welcome with tea offered on our arrival. Homestay of only 2 rooms, very quiet, resting with a beautiful view of the fields and rice fields and on the left Mount Agung. Very clean room, huge bathroom, all the furniture is bamboo (magnificent). Hot water, ventilator (no climate) but the nights are quite cool, we were fine. Excellent lunch served on the terrace of our (top) room, possibility of lunch and dinner on site, dishes are very good and everything is done. We made a 4h (60,000 hydr/h) trek through the rice paddies and the mountain. Sublimistic heating. They can't be called. Very authentic. A driver to take you to your destination. Thank you again for your kindness, welcome to your next destination.
