The pool and garden are amazing! The rooms are a bit outdated and the bathroom could definitely do with some updating BUT the location is good, breakfast tasty and cheap and the staff is super sweet. So based on that I would stay here again. Aircons would be welcome too or a better fan. Some people complain too much, if you want to pay a 3 stars and get a 5 star then you are looking in the wrong price category and place.

Good place, amazing staff

when you park your vehicle you think it was a good choice , garden is fab and pool area has a warm vibe ,even the little terrace of your room is still nice...open the door and you get a punch in the stomach :  a detached fridge bang on in the middle of the room furniture with 3 different styles ,awful bathroom , broken things everywhere , in general extremely depressing so you feel like walking out very quickly....to avoid guys. 


nice outside , terrible rooms

We stayed here for one night and arrived late in the evening. We were lucky they had a spot for us available. We payed 200.000 rp for a room for one night. It had 3 beds in it so it is possible to stay in 1 room with 3 people instead of two like us. 
Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very nice, not much choice (2 kinds of pancakes) but it was tasteful, and you get coffee or tea and a plate full of fruits with the pancakes. Nice people worked here and were available at the reception till late. 

Good prices for what you get

Taman Lily Hotel (formerly known as Taman Lily's Bungalow & Restaurant) has 8 rooms in total. Rooms 1,2,7 & 8 are only with fan, IDR50,000 cheaper than the rest ones with air-conditioning. Every room has two beds--- one double bed as well as a single one--- perhaps it is good for a family. She has no swimming pool, it only takes six-minute walk to the beach, therefore I think it is not necessary to have one. Inside the hotel, there is a large garden with trees and flowers everywhere, peaceful atmosphere all around. As for the bathroom, it is too huge that it seems to be a room in a homestay. Wifi is good at the balcony just outside your room, but not inside.  The breakfast is simple with banana pancake, fruit and coffee provided, don't demand too much for such a cheap price for the room rate. The hotel is by the roadside with a cluster of many restaurants on both sides of the narrow road. Within two-minute walk to the beach, you can find JB's Warung which I fully recommend.

Lovina's good choice

Traveled with a friend and we stayed in a 2 bedroom place. The bedroom itself is good, however I have mixed memories about the washroom as it felt a little uncleanly. One morning we awoke to a train of ants making their way up our doorway but it was quickly taken care of once we let the folks know about it.

Since we were there to get diving licenses we arranged a deal where the cost of stay was included in the package. A local diving shop sales guy approached us in the same hour when we arrived and we struck a deal with him.

There is a great restaurant just behind the place called triple 8 or something similar. Awesome food for a great value, had trouble spending $9USD inclusive of tips and everything!

Great location and simple styling

The rooms with fan are much cheaper and the location is good. Staff is friendly. The beds are hard and the breakfast is poor. But probably for the price you can't expect more ;)
Lovina is a nice little village that is not too crowded with tourists yet, outside the season. But the locals do speak English:)
