Unfortunately, there is an ongoing  renovation beside the reception area and we have to walk under their renovating building to the reception desk as well as to the guest room and we did not get any notification before from them

It is a great lesson indeed that we should read some reviews before booking our room and should not be easily teased by cheap room rate

If only choices were given,  I personally would  prefer to stay at other hotel rather than spend my backpacked holiday in a renovating hostel. Again,  the hostel just need to improve their whole services and train their staffs to respect the guests in any circumstances as the guests pay their services and deserve only for good services during the stay except there is an advance notification on renovation etc

If you still want to stay at this hostel,  please be prepared to never expect something special at this hostel as they have  tiny room, very limited facilities/amenities as well as no hospitality mindset in their staffs' attitudes (a lady and a male staff) 

At current situation, ID card should not be kept at the front office during the stay but hostel  just need to scan it or photocopy it upon check in and give it back to the guest to avoid any lost for guests' ID cards since ID cards should be with the guests themselves at all time as it is one of most precious personal belongings

No further reason found so far to recommend this hostel until they make total improvement in their both facilities and services thoroughly

One of worst hostels I ever stayed at

The room is very small, square 4, if you are traveling together, you can't turn around. The bathroom is even smaller, there is no soap, the drawer is not working well (the room smells of constant moisture), only handkerchief is given. I especially want to note the staff's control over what you take from the kitchen. The hotel offers tea, water and coffee for free, but they count for you how much you took and drank, you drink more, they start to find out, in general, nothing pleasant. The staff speaks very poorly English, all on their fingers. You can rent a bike for 100,000 rupees.

With a huge tense 3 out of 5.

The hostel is located far enough from the center, so getting there by taxi will cost about 35000 rupees. From the minus: sanitary for three. Location. lack of hot water in the room. The staff does not know English. From the pluses: Here you can rent a bike. Not loud. Very decent staff.

Not a bad option for a 23-day stay.

My complete plan to get a feel of hostel in the city of students of Indonesia got ruined. Though the quality of hostel is pretty is really good for the price offered. The only issue we have had with the way the Hostel is publicized.

Not a Hostel(feels like budget Hotel)

Just okay.
Quiet and cozy. The room is too small no space to put your stuff.
But worth the price. Since the place is further from the city, you can rent a bike.

Or install Gojek/Say taxi application in your mobile. I would prefer gojek since it has fixed price.

Located in the middle of yogyakarta, knowing that yogyakarta is a chaotic place to live...the staff barely speaks English but the effort to help you compensates cheaply, very cheaply, so you pay what you have...ideal for backpackers who we tried with little the best: we organized a chauffeur to go to borobudur and the dieng plateau, when even the local motorists told us it was impossible!

A nice, quiet and clean place to stay in Jogjakarta. It's located further from the city's center, but this way it's closer to the IX century temples, which are the city's greatest historical monuments. 
There's wifi and motorcycle rent, which is very convinient if you wish to move around a lot. A motor bije is also probably the cheapest way to travel to the temples.

Quiet & cozy

Since this used to be an indekos (small rooms rent for students with low budget), the room was not really comfortable. The wall made from plywood, the shower has no hot water and the its venthole is linked to next room's shower. Re: not private

The owner was friendly and there was small kitchen area with hot water for us to make a free morning drinks. The wifi is good though.

All of those is match the low price offered.
