We stayed at Di Astana villa for a long weekend with friends and families and thoroughly enjoyed every minute, except leaving... 

The villa is decorated to a very high standard, the bedrooms are clean, very comfortable and with open air bathroom, shower, bathtub and double sinks. The lounge area by the pool is nice and relaxing, we spent hours there talking and watching the kids have fun in the beautiful pool. 

The location is also good, some 5 mins walk to the beach with the W and Potato Head just a stroll along. We enjoyed the service and ordered food in which the staff organised for us. 

All together we had a great time, as always too short, we hope to be back soon!!

Beautiful villa, very high standard 

We chose to stay here recently as it was within walking distance of Mozaic Beach club and restaurant where we planned to celebrate a special event.  Down a quiet lane way, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who worked hard to help us throughout our stay.  We stayed in the studio which was spacious and very comfortable, although lacks access to the pool.  If you want to swim you need to go to the beach.  The location of the villa is ideal.  It is in a quieter area but it is an easy and enjoyable walk along the beach to visit Seminyak Square.
The staff looked after us beautifully, even organising special decorations and flowers for my birthday.  We will certainly stay there again.

Excellent location with friendly staff

We stayed in the studio for three nights. This is really great value at about AUD 65. Good facilities. It doesn't have access though to a pool but in our case we used the pool in an empty villa which is fine (providing it is actually empty) we then stayed another three nights in the larger villa. This has a really great outdoor section and its own pool. We payed with some negotiation 3.5 Mil Rupiah for the three nights incl breakfast.. The villas are down a small lane so being set back from the streets its quiet. Its close to nawty nuris and Batu Belig beach. It has most mod cons you'd expect. and looks good. The staff are friendly. Lots of mosquitos though when we stayed.

Great Villa and great value

Stayed here for 10 nights, we had the large 3 bed villa for the two of us. A nice place but could really do with some maintenance, things like jamming doors and other small issues. The pool is nice but can be quite cool due to not gettingmuch sun directly on it.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Be prepared for mosquitos, they could do some regular spraying to reduce them!

The area is more of a local area, there are several eating out optionss which all good and cheap. The area is quite and a short stroll to the beach, W Hotel and potato head. There is little shopping so you will need a taxi to just about everywhere. We found ouselves dinning in Legian and Seminyak quite regularly.

The villa is actually in Kerobakan but near the beach. The Sunset Bar is at the end of laneway onto the beach, near the villa...it is a fun place for a few drinks and a meal, particularly Friday and Saturday nights.

There are no footpaths in the area which means you mostly walk on the roads, between the traffic and deep open drains, not suitable if you have bad balance etc.

Nice but needs maintenance

We stayed in one of the villas for three nights. We liked the location since the beach is only ten minutes walking distance and the area is really quiet. Unfortunately we didn't find a walking path and went through a little bushy area (not good during night). 
On the beach it takes approximately 5min to the big hotel called "W" and 10min to the beach bar "potatoehead". 
On the beach you can easily walk for hours.... it's beautiful. 
Furthermore there are some nice restaurants as well as a great spa (walking from the villa to the main road, the spa is just on the right side corner) within a five minute walking distance from the villa. If we wanted to get into Seminyak we usually took a taxi (meter) and paid between 20.000 and 50.000 idr.
Later in the evening taxis will usually charge a flat fee of 50.000 to drive to the villa. 
The villa itself was nice, but it is obvious that it needs a little work done (toiletseat is very yellow and really needs to be replaced, paint comes off the walls, kitchen is dirty). If you don't look to closely at these things the place especially the pool area is fantastic and great to relax. 
For breakfast there is a choice of two dishes (Indonesien breakfast and eggs and toast, coffee/tea, juice and fresh fruit).Breakfast gets served at the shared area.

Staff was always really helpfull and friendly. The property is managed by the real estate company ray white.
