It was very pleasent staying there. There wasn't anybody in hotel, just me, so, I was happy)) I took a white room near sweeming pool. It was nice designed, espessially, sweeming pool. My room had a small kitchen, it was very comfortable.There wasn't coocker, but there was a tap with water, kettle, some dishes. Breakfest is basic on room terrace or balcony. It will be good to rent a motor bike to moove anywhere (to restaurants, attractions, stores, markets so on)

We stayed here with two teenagers.  There room had a very damp mouldy stench.  Doors did not close securely.  We discovered there was staff going through our belongings.  No in house restaurant.  Manager was friendly.  No shops close by you need to walk along the main road very dangerous.  Beautiful views though.

Not what I expected

I booked through agoda, arrived at the spot but unfortunately the hotel was empty. 

None of the phone no in the website as well as the personal cell phone given by my friend who been there and still didn't work

Let Agoda team to reconfirm ended with the same unsuccessful trial.

I saw the pool left abandoned and blank receiption area.

The Hotel is no longer exist

We found  Umah Gran Hotel after searching in trip advisor and other sites. We booked it for 3 days..and finally stayed there for 10 days. The reason? Friendly stuff..a very smily and helpful owner and the view from our room of course. The veranta from our room was fantastic. We could see the river and all the nature lying in front of us. I felt like home as we were alone at the Hotel and the suff take care of us very well. We stayed there on January,  All the things to do is near by. Yoga, massages , restaurants. super market. Higly recommended.

The pictures of the hotel are beautiful and the property is nice... but I would not stay again. The beautiful nature is overshadowed by the sounds of the busy road and cars going by.  Not quiet or relaxing. We picked this hotel for the nature and out of town location, but ultimately regretted that. The pool is much smaller than it looks.  The value is just not good for this hotel.  It's too expensive for what you get!  I promise you that there are better and prettier hotels in Ubud! Please look elsewhere! 

I knew the hotel was out of town, but I also knew that you could get taxis however it cost 5 USD for a taxi one way.  Not to mention, the hotel told us they could not get us a taxi because all the taxis were busy.  I then had to become pushy and force them to help us get to town.  One the bright side, they did take us into Ubud on their motos which was nice, but I had to push for them to help us.  

The breakfast was terrible.  I order the balinese breakfast which was no more than ramen noodles and an egg.  Really?  For 30 USD a night, you should be able to provide a proper indonesia breakfast.  Serving just ramen and egg is cheap and tacky.

The room was nice, the view was superb!  The bathroom is well decorated but the water was freezing and our toilet was broken.  The rooms have a lot of potential and beauty but need more work.  Like I said, the value is not good.  

All that to say, the hotel has potential and could be great! My advice stay close to town and stay by the rice fields!
