Its very good view. I have room  206 with the small balcony so I can relax on. The best thing of this hotel is the view.
Room is very old. Air-con does not good. refrigerator does not work.
Bath room is not clean enough. But bed sheet is clean. Breakfast is so so.   .

Good View

I had stay here for 1 night..room is okay..but quite smell.. the best thing is the beautiful scenery which our room's view is Lake Toba..very nice and cold..and this is the only one hotel in Parapat that have aircond :)
breakfast is okay, delicious and satisfied.. but if I come again to Parapat, I will try another hotel :)

Beautiful scenery but need more improvement

the hotel located on a slope of Lake Toba, its scenery was very beautiful both in a morning and in the evening. Very cold in a dawn. Walking distance to local jetty to Samosir island. But just it, really just it.
Room was smelly, its service was poor, i think all staffs have not enough motivation and service orientation, they did what they wanna do and like, we cannot expect more than they are.
Breakfast was too simple, fried rice and vermicelli, didnt worth enough for about USD40

beautiful scenery, not more

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is the view, breath taking and refreshing. The rest of my experience is horrifying. I have stayed in countless budget hotels at lower price but this has to be my worst stay.

Cons:
1. Room - Very basic with very minimal facilities. Room smelled like smoke. Floor was dusty and sticky. There were even cigarette butts (there were 3 nos) next to and underneath the bed and ants everywhere!! Thank god we always travel with electronic insect repellent and once it was turned on the ants begin to disappear.

2. Bathroom - Smelly and rundown.This is the first time in my entire life that I discovered a hotel's room toilet not flushed with faeces remaining!! I had to flush and washed the whole bathroom since it was dirty.

3. Aircond - Remote control was missing. Had to borrow next door's remote control. 

4. TV - There was only 1 channel that is clear.

5. Staff - There were staffs that were accommodating and some were rude.

Overall, the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. If I ever visit Danau Toba again, I will never stay here, even as a last resort. I also seriously do not recommend this hotel.

Worst stay

Hus and i just came back from a 5D4N trip to Medan and one of the nights we stayed there ... 

honestly this is a veryyyyyy basic room with very little amenities ...

Pro's:
- Nice sunset and Sunrise
- Very cold in the morning. Loving the weather about 530-7am.
-The balcony overlooks the water and jetty of the hotel
I guess thats all that i have to say about this hotel ... we only stayed a night but relly nothing to do here 

Con's;
- We could feel something crawling on the bed (Could be bedbugs but we wore mosquito repellent just in case )
- Since the hotel was on the hilly slope , there were no lifts ..(This was a problem for my 64 year old aunt who has a bad knee and its hard if u travel with trolley luggage's )
-Breakfast was non existence .We were given a choice of fried rice or fried vermicelli (both we empty and was very blend). They only gave us a few diff bottle of chili, tomato and hot sauce to put to taste ., very disappointing indeed !!
- The pool was very lowly maintained , that there were filled with bugs ...
- The only entertainment was a very poorly lit, smelly, damped , poor sound system-ed karaoke room.. over priced as well...
- WIFI was non existence.. only n the restaurant and with about 5 of us using it at once it was too slow to open anything at all...
