We really enjoyed our stay here, so much so we asked for an extra day. The gentleman running the front desk was very nice and accommodating. It is in a fantastic location near many restaurants, shops, a market, a temple, and the Monkey Forest.  My partner did struggle to sleep at first due to a nearby night club, but it was easily fixed with ear plugs. I had no trouble sleeping. City noise is the price you pay for such a great location. The room was comfortable and clean. Great value for such an affordable price. 

Great stay

Very like and joy to stay here because closed by monkey forest and center of ubud. Eassy to find some food and also place for shoping. With clean room, hot and cold shower, breakfast in the morning, and good conection of wifi. Recomended this place 

Nice place to stay

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time here. Komang, the host, was extremely helpful and offered to drive us around for a very reasonable price (no Grabs available in Ubud). Rooms were clean and comfortable; A/C and WiFi worked really well; hot water in the shower; nice view from the terrace. Overall, for the price we paid this place was excellent. Highly recommend it!

Comfortable, clean, friendly place to stay

I choose this place pondok muwa guest house to stay because the price is cheaper and affordable, and surprise there  i can found fice field view. You get also breakfast and the staff nyoman are so friendly. So recomendation if you want stay in center of ubud with good price👍👍👍

Good, nice and good price. ;-) 

They gave away one of our rooms to someone else so my friend and I had to share a room because we couldn't find any other place to stay even though we spent two hours looking in the rain.

The caretaker was least bothered. Didn't apologize and just said we could leave. 

When we'd ask for breakfast he'd look like we were asking for a kidney.

Bed was made, but room and loo was not cleaned. We stayed 6 nights and after the 4 th had to ask them to clean the loo!

Breakfast is decent but no milk for tea or coffee.

On checkout, I left my crocs in the room and when I rushed up to get them, the guy had already bagged and dumped them.

I asked him why he couldn't just call out to us given he entered the room just as we left and were only on the stairs. He just shrugged and said "go now".

If you're spending a night or two and don't expect any help from anyone then stay here.

He was a real dampener on our stay.

Good value but terrible caretaker

With an amazing location, this hotel has a real argument.
The quality met for the price is also an interesting incentive. ( though, don’t expect luxurious room )
We felt very comfortable with the staff and they gave us good advise to discover the city.
They had also a peaceful view 

The good plan 

3 bedrooms: 4 bedroom bedroom with very clean and private bathroom for each room! A small corner with a view of the rice paddies! Warm staff! Ideal for backpackers! Right in the middle of Ubub! Really amazing address! I recommend in person!

That's a great place.

Myself and a group of four friends booked the pondok for one night travelling from uluwatu as we wanted to see what else ubud had to offer in terms of accommodation. But when we arrived we found everything we needed for the price! Clean rooms, clean shower with hot water. Great view from the terrace. Perfect location. (Check out laughing Buddha lounge just down the road). Komang (the host) was great and really helpful. Renting bikes and offering great prices for the many excursions that can be had in ubud. Will 100% return! 

Also on a side note. I left my wallet at the hostel after leaving for seminyak, I message Komang and he drove on his bike to drop it to me at my new hostel. What a great guy!

5 days in ubud 

I looked for many hostels but I think is the cheapist! and! calm! just 4beds in dorm, clean, quite nice veiw with small rice field and people is nice! Also my favarite things is you can hear little gamlan from neighbor of performance and nice public space. also if you want, you can use the kitchen.

かなりホステルを探しましたが、ネットでなくて直接行ったらここが最安値でした！落ち着いていて、綺麗で、一部屋４つのベッド、ちょっとした小さな畑も見えて、スタッフもとてもいいです。さらに近くで行われるショーのガムランも少し聞こえて、共有スペースもなかなかです、希望すればキッチンも使えます。
