I couldn’t recommend this home stay enough! We enjoyed our time here so much that we even extended and hope to go back at some point during our trip! The family are so welcoming and helpful, and the place is quaint and homely :) Dekwin is also a taxi driver so we used him whenever we needed a ride anywhere, as this supported the family business. The free breakfast in the morning was great and the rooms were clean and cosy. There are two styles of rooms to choose from, the more modern room or Balinese style, which is what we chose! I would definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Ubud!

Absolutely loved it!

When we arrived at this homestay we where welcomed by Dekwin and his family, they are the kindest people and did everything they possibly could to make our stay perfect. It is located in the centre of Ubud about a 5 minute walk from everything so the location couldn’t be any better. The swimming pool is nice and quiet and the sun shines there all day so its perfect for a swim and sunbathing. For breakfast there was multiple options, we opted for pancakes and fruit with tea and coffee, this was also really nice to have every morning. The Balinese style room was beautiful and clean, it was that good we extended a further 2 nights and where sad to leave as it had such a homely feel and Dekwin and his entire family including their kids where so welcoming and friendly. Hopefully one day we will get the chance to return here.

Best homestay in Ubud

Nice homestay near the center! You enter a courtyard with a nice fountain with koi carp. On the hallway to the kitchen are temples and rooms. The pool is characteristic. The acrylic rooms are not great. I would recommend cleaning the rooms more often for longer stays.

Nice and central.

Super friendly family, that helps you with everything! Quite place, super clean and a nice cold pool. Breakfast was also really good with a little fruit salad and some other options to choose. There is also a beautiful temple, that belongs to dewi antara. 

Quite place with beautiful nature.

Compared to other Homestay in the mainroads you really get more for your money. The price for a Bungalow is lower, the traffic noise level is lower but the people in the back roads are more charming. Also nice was the tiny little pool which refreshes you after a trecking tour and the breakfast on your own veranda. Would come again, rather staying in the Monkey forest road. 

Quite but central

The rooms are lovely, with the necessary (towel, well done Menage, etc.) The rooms look directly on a temple which is fabulous! Service very smiling and always ready to give a hand: we went all morning and the hostess still has us prepare a small dej Meme except if it was out of time 👍🏻 I recommend because excellent quality price ratio!!

It's an incredible place.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 7 nights and we liked it a lot! Super clean and friendly staff and a nice outdoor pool! Overall great experience and the price was really amazing too!  Everything was reachable in 5-10 minutes! We would recommend it to anyone who likes a clean guesthouse in the center of Ubud.

Great experience! 

This is a nice place to stay however we found that the staff weren't very helpful.  The Budget room is very damp and I woke up feeling unwell the next day.  We informed a member of staff who told us we had to pay more to change rooms or check out early and find somewhere else to stay instead of offering us another room.  We came to Ubud to relax and enjoy our time however the owners children were very loud all day and the free breakfast was very small. 
However...the pool was lovely and the location is perfect!

Avoid the cheapest room - full of mould and damp bedsheets

Stayed in Dewi Antara wasn’t the first time in Ubud, Bali. But when I found this place, I was like, “this is the one! I should’ve come to this place since the first time”. It’s not really seen from the street, I mean you should go slow (if you’re on the scooter or car) and see “Dewi Antara Guest House” sign, but trust me the gate is a very Bali authentic and beautiful so you can see it when you’re close. The room is absolutely great and comfortable. There’s a pool, which I love a lot because the pool is like a private pool, clean, and not too deep (because I can’t swim), I mean still in the guest house but not the same place with the rooms, you should enter a door to get into the pool area. The breakfast is tasty. And the owner, Mr. Wayan is incredibly great and polite, he’s the best part of Dewi Antara. If you ever visit Ubud (around Monkey Forest), this is the place you’re looking for!

Great stay with Dewi Antara!

The hotel is very nice, and also the stuff is always very attentive to the wishes of their customers. 
They have a swimming pool where you can relax after a tiring sightseeing day.

the room has no AC and breakfast is very simple, like all the other guesthouses for this price level.

the hotel is near the main road, so it can be loud at night. 
From the room I had, I could see Mt. Agung vulcan!

3 stars only for the noisy location in the middle of Ubud
