Two years ago we stayed in both Villa Wayan 1 and 2 - we came back in June 2016 for a week to Villa Wayan 1 to celebrate my partner Margaret's 50th birthday. The service is great, it's a family run business and it shows - you're always made to feel welcome. Gusti, Wayan and their manager Agus work very hard from check in to check out. Our flight got in at midnight and everyone was were they said they'd be, when they said; we were still greeted warmly at 1.30 in the morning (with a chilled coconut to drink) when we reached the Villa. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and they are immaculately cleaned every day; all the services you need are nearby or a phone call away. The large netted bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning effective and quiet. The gardens are lush, the flowers beautiful and the privacy is wonderful, you'll be surprised what's down the end of the skinny little lane.

It's a 15 minute walk into Ubud, or a cheap taxi ride, if you're not the walking type.

Service sets these Villas apart with the owners working very hard to make sure our last day in Ubud remained part of the holiday and wasn't just a wasted day (and night) waiting for a midnight flight.

Highly recommended - and if you're traveling with friends the Villas are the perfect set up, with separate bedrooms and facilities plus a great alfresco kitchen. Well worth a visit.

Private Villas with service and serenity

We stayed in Villa Wayan 2 in April 2016 for 5 nights - 2 adults 2 teenage children. What a beautiful villa, in a quiet part of Ubud but not too far away from the town centre. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and nothing was too much to ask for. Our children had their own room with 2 king single beds and we had a king size one.We would definitely stay again maybe a little longer next time.

"A lillte slice of heaven"

Stayed in Villa Wayan 2 -August 2014 Booked it again for July 2015 along with Villa Wayan 1- Love the location, hidden away from the streets but close to everything.
The drivers at the end of the lane are very helpful (Both these villas have a mobile phone for your use- program your drivers number in and they will pick you up from down the main street no trouble)
Gusti and Wayan are the owners who are just so warm and friendly, the Villas are clean and very beautiful. Self contained Villas Villa Wayan 1 is the bigger two bedroom Villa but Villa Wayan 2 is like two small Villas in the one compound.

This place is Bliss!

We stayed at Villa Wayan 1 for 10 nights in January 2015 - 2 adults, 2 children and had a fantastic time. The village where the villa is located is lovely and quiet, surrounded by rice fields and other villas. The beds are really comfortable, great bathrooms and a beautiful garden with pool and gazebo. We spent a lot of time lazing around the garden, swimming and have a great time. Gusti and Wayan are really warm, welcoming people who are ready to help with your plans or just have a chat. There are a few good places to eat in the village - our favourites were Sari Organic and Wayan Mendez. Bintang Supermarket is close by and it's about a 20 minute walk into Ubud.

I hope we can stay at Villa Wayan 1 again.

Beautiful tropical escape

Wir waren in Villa Wayan II, die aus 2 einzelnen Gebäuden mit Küche und privatem Pool besteht. Alles war sehr neu, sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Gusti und seine Familie haben sich sehr aufmerksam um uns gekümmer, Fahrer und Ausflüge organisiert. Auch die Lage ist klasse, außerhalb des Trubels aber trotzdem ist die Innenstadt zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch tolle Restaurants sind gleich in der Nähe. Das beste Frühstück im ganzen Urlaub hatten wir bspw. in der Roundbar, die keine 5min zu Fuß von der Villa entfernt liegt. Thank you Gusti and Wayan for this fabulous stay. Your place is amazing, spacious, and very clean - the best place we stayed at during our visit in Bali. You get real value for your money and Gusti and his family cares a lot about his guests, you feel almost like family. Also the location is great. It's a chilled out area out of the buzz of the main roads but close enough to the city centre so you can walk there. Great places to eat are also near by. Fantastic breakfast at the Roundbar. We would definately stay here again.
