We stayed here for four days and had a wonderful Ubud experience. This little paradise is run by a very friendly and helpful young family. The room was beautiful and clean, with a spotless private bathroom and a gorgeous view of the rice fields. The breakfast was delicious and got brought to our room for us every morning. We were able to rent a well-maintained scooter for a good price to leave Ubud for a daytrip but regarding the city itself, everything you need is around the corner from here. 100% recommended!!

Absolutely perfect

I stayed here for 2 weeks in May and 4 further days in June. I absolutely love it here. The rooms are huge with modern bathrooms and a good hot shower. The breakfast is delicious, especially the banana pancakes which were the best in my whole 2 month stay in Indonesia. The rooms are cleaned daily and the gardens are beautifully cared for. The location of the bungalows is great, just down a narrow lane off the Monkey Forest Road so close and very central to everything but also peaceful.
I am back again in September for a week and already looking forward to seeing Kadek and his lovely family again.
Rice Paddy truly is a hidden gem.

Fantastic place to stay

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was basic, but was very clean. The man who runs the hotel is very nice, he accommodated us for needing breakfast early and he helped us when we got lost, (the hotel is actually 50 m north of where it says on google maps, its across from Pertiwi resort). This hotel is in a great location, you can walk everywhere in the town from here. The breakfast included was excellent! We both got the pancakes everyday, they are similar to crêpes and come with fruit salad and coffee/tea. I would definitely recommend this place! 

Great breakfast! Run by a nice family 

My friend and I did not stay in this hotel, but we rented a motorbike here. The motorbike looked old. It released a lot of fumes when we rode it slowly up on a hill. Moreover, when returning the motorbike, we had to pay 250,000 IDR because the saddle was not linked to the bike anymore although we did not break it. We had no accident. It just broke itself naturally because it was too old. It seems like the motorbike's owner had already been aware of this problem because he checked the saddle first when we gave him the motorbike's key. It could be possible that this had already broken before and he just fixed it temporary by using the glue or something like that. Then, after we used the motorbike, he claimed us for breaking it.

Motorbike renting service is not good

We've stayed at Rice Paddy for 3 nights and had a very good experience overall. The place is nice and modern. The room was big and comfortable and very clean. Modern bathroom with western toilet, good shower with hot water.    The owners were very nice and helpful and every morning they brought hot water to our terrace for cappuccino. There is a gorgeous  flower garden in front of the bungalow that they're taking good care of. The place is close to the main street but still very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with lots of fresh fruits and it was served right on our terrace. Good WiFi connection. Recommended
