The hotel is located at walkable distance to the Lovina beach. Easy access to the souvenir shops, bars and restaurants too. The owner was a nice guy and helpful too. The staff were friendly. 

The room was  nice. It was spacious with all wooden interiors. Had a big bathroom with tub. The shower area was open air which was good. Had a balcony and a porch with bamboo chairs. 

The hotel is actually like cottages inside a garden although the gaden was not maintained well. The garden area also hosts a lot of traditional style statues which actually feels good to walk around or to sit and relax on the porch. 

Overall a nice property to stay and relax.

Peaceful Ambience

The room was clean, it had a ceiling fan but sometimes it was still hot. The bathroom has a shower (cold water but very nice given the outside heat!) and a bathtub (hot and cold water). The staff are very hospitable and arranging. The breakfast is very good but a little light (a coffee and a banana pancake). The hotel is well located and our room was off the road. We had to stay 2 nights, we extended until 4! Hotel to recommend!

Very good quality and price!

Unfortunately, I didn't book myself, otherwise I probably wouldn't have had this happen. The place looks grim, but it's unbearable hot in Lovina. The hotel has no air conditioning, no fridge, no safe in the room. The outdoor bathroom, of course, came in as soon as the animals, cats, cockroaches, countless ants, the rooms were not cleaned in the three days, no garbage, nothing else. Towels, toilet paper, soap, you had to organize yourself. The breakfast was a pancake and so on. For breakfast, we were woken up. They wanted to sell us tours - it was really annoying. I'd rather pay.

My friend and I originally planned to stay only one night at the Puri Manik Sari Hotel, but the location was perfect and our room was great, so we decided to extend our stay for two nights. Our room didn't have AC, which we were aware of during booking, but the ceiling fan worked great. The service was welcoming and helpful! The location of this hotel is less than a kilometer away from the beach and near by wonderful restaurants. Great place for budget traveling! 👍🏼

Two Nights Spent at Puri Manik Sari Hotel

In my trip MOCHILERO backpack and smile (July 2017) through Bali - Indonesia, in my stay in Lovina, my review of the PURE MANIK SARI COTTAGES accommodation is as follows: General rating: APTO. More than cabins are small cottages surrounded by garden, this is a typical baline home and its location is good! Its staff, the local mayor, very nice, the right local young guy but very heavy trying to sell us everything.. The price ratio is right. The best, the garden, the right room, bathroom without hot water, WiFi towels, curious terrace, very basic and scarce WiFi. The comfort level is right. The most positive to highlight is the garden and location! The most positive is the personal highlight is the WiFi and the loans, which are very negative, and the loans are very negative, which are very hard to sell.

Only stayed one night in this hotel and it was enough! It wasn't awful but also wasn't great. The negatives: they gave us the wrong room then tried to make us pay a lot extra just to have the room we'd already paid for. They had put the wrong information on booking.com. It took a lot of arguing for us to get the room we needed. The bathroom was outside so you can imagine the bugs everywhere, and the shower barely dribbled water so was pretty much un useable and cold. The goods points were it's in a good location near the beach, we managed to book the dolphin trip pretty late and the breakfast was surprisingly good: pancakes/eggs and fruit with a pot of tea/coffee. Pretty average stay. 

Very average hotel near the beach

Beautiful, Balinese bungalow complex - without pool! It's a little old. Tree garden with many Bali gods statues and temples!! Large rooms, but please bring your own toilet!! friendly staff, speaking English. Simple breakfast: banana pancake with honey and coffee. Located close to the beach!!...and very cheap too!! Please do not in the rainy season of November - April: dirty beach!!

A dreamlike Balinese garden

Was there off-season so got a room with a balcony above the reseption for 100 000 rp(half price, stayed 5 nights). Wifi only in the reseption and rooms next to it. Breakfest included(pancake or toast). Staff was friendly but did offer their dolphin trip etc quite a few times. Room clean and spacious, beautiful garden :)

Nice staff good location

We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed. The staff were great and the room was big and clean. Big bathroom although bathtub was dirty but I think this is due to it not being used often. Cold water shower but we didn't mind as it was really hot outside. We had an AC, the downfall was the creaky bed, it was really noisy other than it was fine. Nice porch area. Small breakfast which was just 2 slices of toast with jam and butter or a banana pancake. The staff here were really helpful and good. 

Great staff good location

The garden is luxurious, fountains are installed all over it is sublime. The price of chances is low if you stay several nights: a total of 540 000 idr for 3 nights in a hemp with air conditioning and breakfast. Very spacious but aging just like the very old bathroom. We have a small private terrace, very nice to dry laundry, booking... Fast access to the beach very well located. A slightly light lunch just a banana pancake or a banana grilled bread and coffee or tea. But the staff offers 180 scooter rental, scuba diving, bus for ubud a... so they keep asking what the schedule of the day is, a little cumbersome has the long end!!!
