We booked 2 rooms in this hotel. The room is basic, the cleanness is OK. The good part of this hotel is the location is in the city, easy to go everywhere and there are many good food stalls and restaurants around the hotel. We never had breakfast from the hotel even though the rate included breakfast. We prefer to go across the street for better breakfast.

Nice Budget Hotel in Salatiga, easy to go anywhere in the city

Arrived late afternoon at hotel expecting an operating open air restaurant to be a part of the establishment as,per details provided online but was told that it didn't operate.  Not knowing the area and speaking no Bahasa Indonesian this was a bit of a problem. Managed to get food ordered locally through manager who then jumped on his motorcycle and went and got it.  Served to us in the open air restaurant area by very lovely staff .  Breakfast is provided, we were asked each evening if we wanted rice or bread breakfast, and this was always delicious and varied and very traditional of the area's food.  Our room was located on the second floor where we could just see the surrounding mountains.  There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs!  There are three floors within this hotel.  Rooms are comfortable with tv but do not expect English programs with the exception of movies in the evening on a couple of the channels.  Shower was not the best with pressure non existent. Room has small fridge but no tea/coffee facilities.  There is an IndoMart just around the corner for supplies.  Staff were very nice and accomodating especially given the language barrier. Rooms are kept clean  and the bed/s are very comfortable and clean but shower did have mould on lower wall.  There is no pool at this hotel.  

Balinese inspired small hotel

Stayed 3 nights in this terrible place. Wherever you looked neglect and dirt. Seriously wondering how they can be still in business?
We even changed room once but to no avail the dirt was consistent. Bathroom walls a real nightmare. But even worse the indonesian breakfast, which is imposed on guests with absolutely no possibility of variation. I love indo food but fat chickensoup for breakfast is not my thing.
Coffee was another nightmare. And no service at all!!!
I have been a hotel director myself, but even with the greatest goodwill there is nothing they can do to improve this nightmare.
Shower walls were covers in mould

Being relatively cheap is no excuse for being absolutely dirty

Its a small hotel, small parking lot. The room was big enough, clean, especially the bed. It even has bolster too. Staff were friendly . Wifi fast. Amenities only soap, tooth brush and shower cap. No coffee or tea. The food was good. Really value for the money.

Value for money

I like where it's located, close to the main alun-alun, but a bit tucked away from the main street. The rooms are nice, but despite having specifically asked for double room (my husband actually came in to check an book a week before our arrival to make sure, and they even showed him the double room) we were given a twin room as they said the double rooms are fully booked. 
The only silver lining to this unfortunate mix up is that the room has a very beautiful view of the city (despite located only on third floor) and Mount Merbabu. 
The shower works nice and the breakfast is a modest (but delicious) soto ayam and nasi. A great way to get you acquainted with local delicacy. 
But for the price I paid (350k/night) this hotel was a good bargain.
