The photographs are not very clear and the environment is not as clear as described. Bathrooms are often not clean and smell bad. Breakfast is very good and typical of the friendly staff. It is easy to find blasts, but you get spray!

Little clean environment

The hostel is located in small aisle but easy to be found by maps. I stayed in a dorm room, the bed was nice and clean, but no curtain for privacy. The price is included delicious breakfast. My favorite part was the shower! It was like a waterfall with some plantation around. The balcony was also very nice to relax

Nice Hostel Close to Malioboro

Stayed here for two nights as a couple one in the private room with shared bathroom and one in the shared dorm due to a mix up with availability. Room were nicely decorated and equipped with fan. Loved the cast concrete use in the bathrooms but only cold water was available in the showers which was a shame. The balcony area was lovely and pretty chilled place to access the decent wifi. Night in the dorm room was pretty disturbed as I just felt the dorm room was too big with 10-12 beds meaning there was just too much coming and going throughout the night. Good breakfast included in the price. Felt like this was value for money if sleeping in the private room but not so much for the dorm option.

Functional and value for money

We stayed in this hostel for 3 nights in one of the private rooms. The place is really characteristic and it is 5 minutes walk from Malioboro Road and the bus stop. We arrived late in the evening but having informed the boys they gave us all the directions to enter as they are present until 17. It is mandatory to leave the shoes at the entrance and walk barefoot or with socks, for us it was not a problem because we found the whole place always very clean but someone might not like it. There is no hot water in the showers and you should avoid throwing the toilet paper in the temples because you risk clogging everything (but I have seen that it is a problem in many places in Jakarta).

A good base for visiting the city and its surroundings

Good value for money. The staff is adorable, the hostel is well located. The breakfast is really good. The only small thing is to plan for quiet balls because it can be quite noisy at night.

My girlfriend and I stayed 4 nights in the dorm room in what must be one of the most beautiful hostels we have both visited.

The design and styling are awesome. The information upfront is spot on and the service is fast and friendly. The dorm room was nice and cool, with a really cool setup of the beds which gave me the feeling of privacy. Beds were comfy also! 
The showers are nice, you can chill in the little garden or on the balcony and everything is really clean. The breakfast (included) is really really good. Finally, also a good location.

Very high value for money so I would definitely recommend!



Awesome place! Highlands recommend

What a lovely hostel in a quiet location within walking distance of Malioboro in the very center of Jogja. The owners are passionate travelers themselves and have done an amazing job fixing up a historical building and keeping its vintage charm, including lots of upcycled furniture and tasteful, creative decorations. Smart layout for the dorm with enough privacy between the beds, power plugs everywhere, and generously sized individual lockers for storage. The bamboo waterfall shower is great! The place is super clean, wifi is fast and the staff is super helpful with trip planning, scooter rental, suggestions for restaurants etc. Delicious, local breakfast – the fresh orange juice is a nice touch. Free tea, coffee and drinking water all day. The upstairs balcony is a lovely, breezy place to relax and chat with other travelers. Highly recommended!

Lovely place and great value!

This is my first trial to stay in bed and breakfast, and luckily I get this place! It was located in the middle of Yogya tourism center, malioboro area. Its very easy to find anything in this area. We can walk barely everywhere. The house was an artistic vintage house. Like hippy, shabby chic. And i really like it. The room was clean, spacious. They have 3 bathroom, 1 indoor and 2 outdoor... and one of them have waterfall shower!!!!! Very refreshing! The living room, kitchen, hangout room also unique. Cozy and warm. I loveeee their breakfast! Simple, traditional and healthy. Mas Tato, the housekeeper also so nice. We shared a lot of things that we can do while in Jogja. They have good wifi and information board too. For any of you fun traveler, please try this house. Just check my photos, its not all but i hope it helps. Btw, thank you for the hospitality and experience!

New exciting experience

We stayed in the private room in a double bed, the room is simple but very clean. Tato (the hostel employee) has been very kind and helped us to hire transportation to borobudur and with an Uber driver who only spoke Indonesian.

 Environment and location excellent.

The staff is adorable!! They are always ready to inform you and do your service! The place is airy and far from the noise of Malioboro. Very close to the city centre but at the same time very peaceful! The only negative point, despite the rules of life imposed by the hotel, is that all guests in the dormitory are not very respectful of other guests (night wake I noise, etc...) I recommend!!
