Rooms are pretty small but are nice. The beds are good quality and the aircon works well. Bathroom was really tiny, would be nice if rooms were a little larger.

Staff were very helpful in helping to organize tours and very accommodating when my plans changed or when I needed to cancel something.

Breakfast brought to the room too.

Overall great place to stay!

Small, charming

We stayed for 3nights in De hostel, and what we liked most was that the place is very calm and relaxing (with a nice little „garden“ inside, and a „lounge“ to chill out), but it‘s still very central. There are a lot of good bars and restaurants within a 2-5minute walk.
The staff is very friendly and generous - at our last day we could even spend the whole afternoon at the swimming pool of „Duka Gardens“ (a nearby hotel which takes part of the hostel chain) for free. 
The breakfast was very good - you could always choose from 4-5 different options and you can eat it in front of your room at the nice patio of the hostel. 
The only disadvantage was that the AC was a bit loud sometimes, and that the room smelled sometimes a little bit mouldy.

Quiet place but very central

The place is cheap but very cozy and nice with table to have breakfast outside the room.  The mural in the room was beautiful. 
They offers breakfast for two with different menu everyday, you have to choose the menu on the evening for tomorrow's breakfast. 
Water cooler/heater,  coffee,  tea with are on a table at the corner before we go up to our room.  Its nice.  Also go wifi.  im reallt happy with my stay here.  

Adorable and cozy place

Very good service, breakfast served at the door of your room, excursions and transportation to the airport. The rooms with ventilator and air conditioning, TV. The bathrooms need a little renovation, I would pay more easily if that were the case. The hotel is located on a narrow street that leads to another full of restaurants, changing rooms, bars. So everything is very quiet. Just walk a few steps to find a driver who will take you to the center... The best: the sympathy and kindness of all the staff!

Excellent personal!

Very clean and cozy hotel. Good location on Prawirotaman Street which is very lively with restos bars etc. A little back in an alley but superb and very quiet. The beds are very comfortable, the small garden with the water pool is very nice: little dej on this fabulous view. The little dej is quite right. Little dej is a small negative: the wifi does not work super super super but it is usable and a small pool would not be a disadvantage. Super quality/price ratio and very friendly staff.

Room is okay, nothing special. If you have twin beds, room is enough and storage space too. Unfortunately, shower without shower cabin (bath is flooded afterwards). AC works well, but after longer use it gets quite loud, so it's more difficult for the night. Breakfast comes every day at the door (on the balcony, which is at the same time the flooring of the house), rooms are cleaned and you get water. Breakfast could be better, but it was okay. There is a mosque nearby, so it will be a little louder several times a day.

Solid hostel in a lively position

We spent one night at the De Hostel, after comparing the other hotels around. It's very quiet, with air conditioning, nice frame and clean room cheaper than the neighbouring ones. Breakfast is right, they have a taxi service on the spot (and not too expensive) which is very convenient. It's close to the neighbouring restaurants and bars, in a neighbourhood where you can have a drink, with music and a good atmosphere.

It's a good hotel.

By being on a quiet street you avoid the constant noise of the city, breakfast is taken to your room and taken to the table that everyone has outside.

Very well situated and good quiet rooms.

The hostel, which is more like a small hotel is very well located in the touristic hub, next to everything you may need, scooter rental, money changers, restaurants, bars and shop.
Not really local you will understand.

Rooms are basic but clean with ac. Bathroom is extremely small so you will be showering above your toilets. The curtains are quite transparent so people walking by can actually see you. It is also quite noisy for light sleeper, since you can hear everyone going back to their room, and the mosque at 5am.. 
Other than that the staff was estremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast isnt great but will do the job.
On top, you can use the pool of another hotel 5min walk from there for free.
Not sure I would be staying again but had a good stay.

Disapointed experience...
Not organize with online accommodation booking website..
We already booking, but very very dissatisfied..we would like to cek in but no person stand by at front desk. After that we can not cek in, with reason ID card and status...
