Well, you get what you pay for. Actually, the facility would be a lot of work. With the pool in the middle and the leafy corridors, it's actually pretty decorated. Unfortunately not very well maintained. The room wasn't really clean and in the bathroom we had our own mushroom culture and a toothbrush that I don't think we've had for a long time. The furniture is gone. The beds were okay. For a few nights, yes. The kids were having fun in the pool and the people were very nice.

Cheap but cheap

Nothing in the description of the Hotel Perwita Sari is incorrect, but it can be HUGELY misleading. It has some real positives: the pool is nice, the surrounds are immaculate and the included breakfast is quite decent.  However, the family room really lacked space and the air conditioning was dodgy. The bathroom/toilet was something of a surprise - it is truly private, but it is also very basic. Much more than I expected.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but not overly proficient in English. There also tended to be groups of Indonesian students staying there at regular intervals.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. But there was no space for a table or a chair inside.
Just as long as you realize that the rooms are basic, it is an excellent place to stay. But if you are looking for a little luxury, then this is not the place to stay.

The price is excellent, but you do get what you pay for!

I stayed on 22/12/2016 untill 24/12/2016. I  take the "family room" one, because i stay here with 3 friends. The room not so big yet not small too, there are two full beds, with a tv, 4 towels, and an air conditioner. And the bathroom is equipped by water-heater-+shower and a small-size-water closet. When the first time I enter the room, i got a problem with an air conditioner, but then it fixed it self (😂 I don't know why, i just press this then press that the remote of ac, until there's something happened in the second day). 
The public facilities there are: Free WiFi,Parking Lot, Swimming pool. 
And when i woke up on the next morning, there's something that surprised me, surprisingly, they provide free breakfast. I'm surprised because of the "hotel-booking-application" didn't tell me on their description about free breakfast (as I recall, "the-hotel-booking-application" put on their description that 'breakfast not included' 😂😋). 
But in the second night, there's problem with an ac, and when one of my friend asked about what will we get then, the hotel employee immediately set up a replacement room. But then, the new room not so as good as the old one, because we got a little bed than the old one, and the water heater doesn't work well. Hmmm, well it doesn't much matter for me since it's the last day and we didn't need it anymore cause we spend our time out-of-door. 
Then when I checked out there's no additional-fee-charge ( total amount of 2 nights "family-room" for 4 person(s) including travel insurance is Rp 669.366,- )

Such A Worth Price!

Really worth the price!

Hotel located in the tourist street of Yogyakarta, where there is a wide selection of good small restaurants. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms are rather small but correct and clean. The small dej consists of toasts and fresh fruit (+ tea or coffee). A little more: tea available in front of each room every day!

The hotel has a very nice swimming pool.

A simple and very charming hotel, where we had a super nice reception, the shower a little cool but with the heat it's no problem! Thank you so much for your kindness and smile!

What a lovely welcome!

We stayed here for four nights and were satisfied with the place. The rooms were nothing special, very small and basic. The pool we did not try. The staff was very willing and helpfull. The location is great if you just want to take tours and have dinner in the evening (plenty of tour operators and restaurants on the street), it is a bit further to the downtown though. 

Good location, nice staff, basic rooms

It is really a very nice place to stay if your demandings are not so high! 
Staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. 
Swimmingpool is good. 
Rooms are old and some of them a bit small. Breakfast included (choice of fried rice<spicey> or toast: both with a baked egg). 
To stay in Prawirotaman (very nice street) i think it's a good choice. 

Nice place

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It looks really nice with a swimming pool in the middle of all rooms. When we arrived the hotel seemed completely empty. This made us a little concerned. When we entered the room, we did not feel comfortable. The sheets did not look clean and the bed was old and had plastic wrapped around it. There were ants crawling on the bed as well.
However we had an OK stay for 2 nights, the location was great. Right in the street were there are a lot of restaurants. And the staff is very friendly in this hotel. If you want a hot shower, make sure you book a room with warm water. Without knowing we booked a room with only cold water.

Good location, disappointing rooms

When we arrived in Yogyakarta, we went straight to Prawirotaman, it was the first hostel we saw, we met and stayed, so I can't compare. For 200k IDR/night, small but clean room, with AC, TV and WiFi. Breakfast included, all excursions are booked at the same hotel (Borobudur, Prambanan y Bromo).

Good care, clean, quiet and with swimming pool.

The location is very good, around it are many travel agencies as well as restaurants. It is part of one of the two most touristy streets in Yogyakarta. Still, you can find hotels in the area that are much cheaper, but the good thing about this is that it has an open-air swimming pool 24 hours a day and that the staff is very attentive. The rooms are right but the bathrooms are very deserted. The breakfast is quite fair.
