I spent one night with my family in this B and B during a tour of Ireland. It has a definite charm due to the historical roof made with the thatching technique. The rooms are large, though basic, with decent bathrooms, though a little small. Breakfast is ok, nothing special, with limited menu. There is no 24-hr a day person there but they can be reached by phone.

Really nice place. We had a twin room.
Excellent breakfast, included in the price.
Building is modern and has good wifi.
Central enough location to the village with good parking on site. Shower also was very good. 

Comfortable Place

Stayed here with my partner last week. We booked it before reading the reviews about lack of breakfast etc and were apprehensive. 
The manager quickly put our mind at ease. He returned here this summer after spending a few years elsewhere. He assured us there was breakfast. Which I must say his chef blew us away with. The fruit salad and fresh local full Irish were delicious. 
 The room was beautiful,clean and modern. The building is lovely both outside and in. It's only a short walk to the village also. Plenty of parking space outside and very nice staff. The manager went above and beyond to find me an adapter. 

Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Charming Place

Bed & Breakfast that’s doesn’t serve breakfast. We had to shell out a further €30 in town for breakfast. Room was OK but when you pay €120 for a B&B you at least expect breakfast. Would we stay here again? No way. Room was OK and was relatively clean.

Bed & NO Breakfast

Our Czech family booked this “Bed & Breakfast” thinking there was going to to breakfast served in the morning. When we enquired we were told there was no breakfast being served. So I guess this place can better be named “Bed & No Breakfast”? Never stay here again…

Bed & Breakfast with no breakfast 🤦‍♂️

Very basic accomodation and clean and neutral rooms in a nice location. However, the rooms are badly designed, we had no hot water at all in the morning, the shower fixture is broken, there is no lid on the toilet, and there is no shower curtain (meaning the bathroom gets completely wet when you take your cold shower). All in all, we were rather disappointed — the place is simply way too expensive for what you get.

Disappointing

We stayed in Inspiration Lodge for 6 nights using it as a base for sightseeing, hiking and exploring around Dingle peninsula. We found it was exactly what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was average size for a B&B and had plenty of storage. Ensuite bathroom has a lovely shower. Everything was clean and presented well.

A beautiful place to get away to

A place with great potential but let down by very poor breakfast that was deep fried! Who needs that?  Bad TV service, lady very friendly and accommodating but found the gentleman to be very much lacking in customer care and basic manners! We are the customer at the end of the day without whom you could not operate! 
Also very limited eating facilities nearby despite being told there were 2/3 but too many places closed. We had to cut short our stay because of a family bereavement but honestly wouldn't want to go back. Outside area at the back very grubby and in need of a good clean up!

Disappointing stay!

Really good value and breakfast for € 7 including famous white and black pudding served up by Alan who was really helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, rooms clean and modern, would recommend to fellow dingle way walkers.

Great value & breakfast

I visited the Inspiration Lodge last February, before the Covid 19 lockdown just to get away from the stress of life at the time. (Little did I know that there was more and even worse to come!). My stay at the Inspiration was wonderful.  I stayed in Room #4 and had a view of the trees in the back yard.  It was peaceful and quiet and the birds sang happily in the morning.  The lodge is clean and polished and contemporary in style.  I went to Annascaul so that I could go walking in the surrounding hills and I wanted to be close to Inch Beach.  I discovered a myriad of organized walking trails and particularly enjoyed Annascaul Lake.  The location was perfect.  Highly recommended bed and breakfast!!
