What was bad

Food was reasonable, but nothing special. The breakfast bar was extremely messy. There was tea spilt everywhere and dripping on to the floor. When I brought it to the attention of staff it was dealt with but they weren’t apologetic in any way. The lead for the kettle was too short and you had to balance the kettle at an angle and only put a little water in. There was no choice of tea in the room. Generally the furniture etc in the room was slightly shabby and tired looking. Definitely overpriced I’ve stayed in a great many hotels in this price bracket but the standard of this room fell very short and and was only what you would expect from a budget hotel. There really was no difference. Very disappointing stay for the price paid
