Such a kind and superb hostess. A wonderful experience in a traditional Irish house. The breakfast was the best during my stay in Ireland. Brown bread scones and pancakes. The room are old style but comfortable with the convenience you need

Best breakfast and super host

I booked two nights of a bank holiday weekend over the phone, speaking to Mary. I sent a confirmation email - no reply. 
So I rang and spoke to Mary again, who confirmed the booking. 
Having been previously let down with phone bookings, I subsequently asked closer to the time for email confirmation, at which point Mary emailed back to say that she had now decided to close the B&B for that weekend and therefore she would have to refuse my booking.
She totally wasted two weeks of my time and left me unable to find affordable accommodation elsewhere, with the result that I had to cancel my bank holiday weekend away.
Thanks for that, Mary.

Abysmal - avoid at all costs

Thank you for your warm welcome with your delicious little hot cakes! I'd have to ask you for the recipe! Excellent breakfast..... Just a little difficult to find this charming Bed and Breakfast..... and nothing to eat nearby in the evening, just a pub where the person served us frozen pizzas!

Irish hospitality

It took a little while to find Findus House (use the postal code when using GPS), but once there we were greeted so warmly by Mary.  She sat down for at least a half hour talking to my husband about Ireland (he spent 9 years in Ireland and they were talking about changes, politics, etc.).  She was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our stay

Irish Hospitality

This B&B is made to stay only one night and again... the staff is nice but the establishment is far from everything! The comfort is not optimal (small room, disastrous sound insulation, wifi not in the rooms..) The only positive point remains the breakfast which remains good but not exceptional either. For this price it is possible to find a B&B of better quality.

Stage B&B

Mary has owned and operated this quaint and clean B&B for nearly 40 years.  She was a wealth of information about local events, where to eat or gol. She sent us to a nearby restaurant where the food was superb (The Auld Triangle).    While there was some trouble with the WiFi, which was not the fault of the B&B, Mary went out of her way to get it serviced well into the night.   Breakfast was served promptly and the choices were all great and served hot.  Very tasty.  She even had a guitar and piano for us to entertain ourselves with.

Family trip

It's a very nice place in the country but it's nice... fortunately the GPS was there to guide us! very warm welcome by a very friendly little lady The room had a super-year-old charm but everything was clean.

Take a rest for the night

We wanted a B&B off the beaten path and we found it.  The owner could not have been more friendly or accommodating.  We were greeted with freshly made, delicious Scones and tea.  The room was just right.  We had no problems or concerns at all.  Breakfast in the morning wad perfect.  Matter of fact she offers more breakfast ideas than any other place we stayed.  I highly recommend this B&B. Bur remember it is out in the farm land so driving to it is on narrow local roads.

Excellent place to stay

The location is quite remote but worth the detour. The flowers and colors deserve attention, as well as the breakfast room: take a dip in the past centuries and between embroidery and porcelain you will find flavors and aromas of freshness and genuineness.

Like in a fairy tale

Okay, it's remote but the charm and the housewife Mary are doing everything they can to cheer you up. In the evenings there's still coffee or tea and even baked ones. The breakfast is rich and the hot food offered was divine. Thanks for that was almost like home. Tip definitely visit the old village pub, which is pure Ireland.
