My family and I have left a part of our heart in this lodge. I can explain better Katlin and Dany made us feel at home, it was hard to leave.

Great stay and thanks to Danny and Kathleen! Room was quiet and spotless, breakfast was delicious and the conversation better. Would definitely stay again if In the area—great location if you are going to Kenmare or need a stop before the Ring of Kerry or Beara.

You made our stay at Gortnaboul House a truly unique experience. Both so kind and always happy to  help and advise. We felt that we were part of your family.
The house had all the facilities we expected, and breakfast was varied and plentiful. We were a family of five adults and everyone enjoyed both the wonderful environment and your kindness. Danny,

We had the most wonderful time staying with Danny and Kathleen. The rooms were clean, cozy, and breakfast was amazing. We all had more than enough to eat, and they even took the time to accommodate my special request of pancakes. They were also very helpful in giving us advice of how to get where we needed to go. Top knotch service from start to finish. You won't be disappointed if you stay at the Gortnaboul House!

First class.

What a lovely B&b just on the edge of the village so ideal if you want to walk to the local pubs in the eve. Plenty of options on offer for breakfast and whatever you wanted was booked fresh. Both hosts were friendly and chatty which is a added bonus. 

Traditional country B&b that won't disappoint 

I had a bit of a rant the other iday with a boutique style hotel in Kenmare in connection with the ridiculous rates they are now charging - will not provide a single room  rate , 2 night stay only etc. It wont last - I reminded them and the hotels are making sure it wont last .

However , as luck would have , I arrived at Gortnaboul bed and breakfast in Kilkgarvan 6 miles from Kenmare . If anyone wants to do an authentic stay in an Irish B & B this is the house to do it in . Wonderful hospitality in a lovely farmhouse on the edge of the village . Rooms comfortable, bathrooms spotless , breakfast delicious.  Above all, the couple that own this lovely place . I am looking forward to coming back this evening already . FANTASTIC 

Visiting relations ! 

We travelled from Wexford on business and were delighted with Danny & Kathleen's warm hospitality. You can tell they take pride running their B&B and enjoy what they do. 
The house was pleasant and situated very close to Kenmare where we were working. 
The bedrooms were cosy and warm, and the beds were very comfy. 
For breakfast Danny and Kathleen made sure we had everything we wanted including keeping the tea fresh and warm! 
We enjoyed the chats with them both, and they weren't short on helpful information. 
Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Lovely family run B&B with great hospitality

Comfortable bed, clean and quiet room, very good breakfast and friendly guests!! Very good stop at the end of the ring of Kerry for our part and very good location in the Kerry (near Killarney National Park).

A good B&B

We were originally planning to stay in Kenmare, but the town was full due to a sports event. Then we were recommended to Danny's Bed & Breakfast in nearby Kilgarvan. We were picked up by Danny, he drove us to the accommodation by car. Danny and his wife were super friendly, helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was top-notch, plenty of choice, everything fresh and appetizing. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the Bed & Breakfast. The facilities in the house/room were very tasty and beautiful, the rooms were very neat and tidy! The WiFi worked very well and we also had a clean parking space right outside the door. It was about 5 to 10 minutes away from the car park, but around the E. Kenmare village we would introduce a small pub and tank shop.
