My friend and I were greeted at the last minute with a wide smile and extreme kindness Thank you for this little-care stay course!!

That's great.

Everything there was about my brief visit to Birr was favourable, and this B & B was no exception. Situated on a quiet road on the outskirts of the town (follow the signage pointing towards the equestrian centre if your satnav is on strike) it has adequate parking, comfortable accommodation, a generous breakfast menu and a friendly propretor.

Stayed in a single room which had complimentary tea/coffee facilities and a bathrobe. Breakfast was delicious, good choice of food, lovely brown bread and homemade scones.   Nice leisurely 20 minute walk into main street of Birr Town.   Mary the owner very helpful and informative about the area.

Lovely quiet B&B

Welcoming, friendly and  
accommodating. Room very clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast menu, plenty of choice. Level walk to local town taking about 20 minuites. Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay.

Visiting Family.

Friendly welcome, and host had loads of suggestions about what to do / see. Mary cheerfully provided warm water to de-ice the car in the morning !

Friendly B & B

Stayed at Aonach B&B with my Husband & Mother for a family celebration in June.  Mary was very friendly & looked after us so well especially my elderly Mother, switched on an electric blanket  for her every night.  Dropped us into Birr one night when we didn't want to take the car. Rooms very comfortable, breakfast lovely and plenty of it.  Would recommend it and would definitely stay again if visiting Birr.

Great place to stay in Birr

It's a very small bathroom, which would deserve a little more care and maybe even a little more cleaning. The wifi works well. Small private parking, however if it's full on the street there's plenty of space. Breakfast is minimal. Overall the price ratio is discreet; considering the peripheral location, breakfast, and bathroom and so on, maybe it would be more appropriate for a slightly lower price. But overall the facility is not a good choice and can be considered a one-night stand.

B&Bs on average

The owners were very kind, hospitable, and helpful in answering each of our questions. Their little dog always walks the hallways in the house. Our double room was lovingly furnished, clean and bright, and had its own bathroom. In the morning we had a small but perfectly sufficient selection of cereal and fruit for breakfast in the living room/dining room, marmalade and toast on the table, and on request we had a delicious, homemade Irish breakfast (chicken, sausage and egg). All in all, we were very satisfied and would have liked to stay longer.

Small, cozy Bed & Breakfast House

Mrs. Mary is very welcoming and welcomes the customers. The house is conveniently located and the car park is convenient. The rooms are very clean.
