I stayed here a few times for work all the rooms were tidy and clean, the staff are great and the food was priced well and delicious some of the most tender meat I've ever had and a lovely full irish breakfast in the morning excellent value for money I would highly recommend

Great food

Sorry about the title- running out of ideas. The hotel is a quaint place that’s family run. I loved it. It had a large, very clean room for us with 2 beds. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was large for European standards. I liked that we had breakfast twice (included) and the food was outstanding. I’m just sorry that I didn’t spend time at the bar. My son did. The staff member I met was so hospitable he made me feel like a regular. I’ll be back there for sure. 

Really nice place

We love staying here Staff are marvellous We are remembered and welcomed really like returning home. Rooms are very comfortable and food is fantastic. Very helpful and friendly staff. Situation is perfect for touring the west of Kerry with the marvellous coastal scenery, with fabulous views of the majestic mountains. Lots of opportunities for sightings of the famous Skellig Islands and many more beautiful islands.

Annual revisit

Lovely clean room and breakfast was extremely nice. Great comfortable beds. Staff extremely helpful and even though the bedroom overlooked the street there was no noise problem at all. We will be back again soon 

I recently stayed the night at the Kerry Coast Inn and found it be excellent value for money. The rooms were fine and spacious, the breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Parking is provided, the Wifi works perfectly and the room represents excellent value. 
It is not the Ritz it is fair to say, but it is also fair to say you're not paying Ritz prices. That said I would absolutely recommend this hotel as a base for exploring Cahersiveen or the wider Kerry area in general.

Excellent Value

Had a great stay here on a golf weekend with some friends. We received a typical Kerry welcome in this beautiful location. The food was amazing (breakfast in particular) which was badly needed after a very pleasant evening in the bar. Staff are all incredibly welcoming and the rooms were exactly what we needed. Very clean, comfortable beds and nice hot shower after the Kerry rain! Great fun in the bar and will be sure to return and spend more time exploring the area and listening to Irish music.

Great Weekend in Cahersiveen

Stayed at this awful place few days ago. Where do I begin...dated rooms. Half tucked in toilet rolls.. sink slow to release and leaked onto floor that looked like it needed a good scrub. White liquid stain on wooden bed frame . .yuk. Live band started blaring at 10 pm ish to 12. Then noisy people going to beds.  Breakfast awful tea. cold toast no diced potatoes or brown bread with my breakfast half a black/  white pudding.... need to seriously improve this place. It was most expensive I've stayed in all week and d worst ever. Luxury it is not.Sorry I usually feel bad about leaving negative review as I feel it's not fair but I'd hate anyone to stay here sleep in your car before booking here.

Awful avoid at all cost

I visited this "Hotel" for two nights B&B plus one evening meal with wine. It was a a present from my family and prepaid 
The room was not great, certainly not as advertised outside " Luxury accommodation.The window was adjacent to a glass corridor with people passing so we had to keep the curtains shut 
The bathroom was a bit tatty but its wildlife was not apparent till later. 
My fish and chips meal, priced on their 'Award Winning' menu at €16.50 was the smallest portion of fish I've ever been served. When I mentioned it to the barman/waiter he embarrased me in front of customers beside us by replying "was it not enough for you". We had to ask for the glasses of wine that was included. 
A bad experience all round. We felt as the meal was paid for already he wasn't interested. 
The experience in this "Hotel" only got worse. 
During the night when the light was turned on in bathroom silverfish went scurrying for shelter from the light. We had to leave the lights on all night. 
I took some videos on my phone of the silverfish. On checking out I informed the barman of the silverfish.  He was sceptical and thought if they were there the cleaning staff would see them. I told him they only came out in the dark and that we had to leave light on to keep them at bay.  Still a bit sceptical I showed him the video. Still no apology. 
The only positive thing about our stay was the breakfast.  Ten out of ten for that but that was it.

Silverfish

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, and the hotel was very simple (just how I would have liked it). Even with my picky reviews, I would say that this hotel was way beyond satisfactory, not to mention the delicious breakfast and dinner served there. Don’t let the outside deceive you, the hotel is a must-go for tourists touring around the Cahersiveen area.

Clean, Friendly, Simple

Basic,. But functional.  The cost is far too high for this hotel.  The parking is lacking and signage to get to the entrance is non-existant.  It is old but has been remodeled.  I am not likely to stay again as other accommodations are much less and equal in quality in the Prince George area
