We stayed in this B&B last weekend to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in Cork and it was a wonderful choice.  Susan and her husband were very friendly and helpful for everything. The rooms are very  clean and spacious and the area is very quiet not too far away from Cork City Center. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay

My Wife & I stayed here for two nights in October 2023. It is an excellent and very friendly B&B. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very tasty (especially the home made wheaten bread). The B&B is very handy to the bus stops for the bus into and out of Cork City Centre.  There is also enough off-street parking spaces for 6 cars so parking was very easy.

- the room, bed and shower - all good, clean and comfortable 
- 5-star breakfast; all you could think of 
- her perfect useful advises, where to go / how / when / why

A bit out of the centre (therefore quiet during the night) but within a few minutes by bus or taxi in the city centre. 


Just perfect ! 

I booked the Caroleville B&B since we were visiting family in Ballintemple. It turned out to be ideal. Susan and Dennis were impeccable hosts, the room was comfortable, peaceful and clean. Breakfast was generous, with a chance to chat with other guests. Plus, the bus connections into city centre were easy. We’d stay here in a heartbeat, and hope to return.

Lovely stay

Excellent and super cozy rooms . Great location to visit Cork and its surroundings.Very quiet neighborhood and bus stops are just outside the place. Great breakfast. The owners’ kindness makes you experience a familiar atmosphere here. Absolutely recommended. 

Super nice

We fell in love with the beautiful home and the nicest, kindest, most interesting and generous hosts. Our room was bigger and better than the Morrison in Dublin . It had all the amenities and marvelous picture window. The family directed us to the Silver Key for lunch and it was amazing. The servers and bartender were welcoming and had marvelous suggestions for a delicious meal with heavenly wine and beer. We had authentic Irish music at Sim es and was so lucky to be there at the Venue for pizza and the Irish/South Africa rugby match . So exciting and the fans welcomed us in and taught us so much about the sport. Ireland won which filled the air with such glee and joy as only the Irish can do. All thanks to Susan and Dennis our hosts who directed us our whole time. They were so nice and wonderful to talk to. So much so we delayed our Kinsail grip for 2 hours just to converse with Susan. Quite a treat . We highly recommend Caroleville to all travelers looking for a delightful experience with wonderful people ,a beautiful place to stay, clean and safe and close to everything. Just plain Fabulous! All we’d hoped for and more.

Carole Ville Guesthouse was probably my best experience in B&B. It's owned by a traditional and charming Irish family with great human quality and awesome dedication to their work. Susan, Denis, and Lord Benji are extremely friendly and welcoming, and that is a plus. Breakfast was super delicious too.

Plus than perfect

Great stay with great people. 
Our original stay was overbooked and we where able to stay here instead. The hosts where very friendly and helpful.  
Breakfast was great, all fresh produce like smoked salmon. Fresh set coffee 10/10.
The room is also very room and setup very well setup. 

Great people and stay 

We had such a delightfull stay in Cork .Super nice hosts and a delightfull breakfast.The guesthouse is newly refurbished and the rooms spacious.Sufficient parking .Lovely neighbourhood pubs close by.Also well located to visit neighbouring towns

One of the nicest plays to stay when in Cork

This B&B surpasses all expectations. Susan and Dennis were extremely welcoming and helpful and gave great advice of the local area and sights. 
The room was large and  modern with all necessary amenities, and overall extremely comfortable.
The location of the B&B is perfect, with the Marina Market within walking distance, and it’s also just a short stroll into town. There were also buses running quite frequently near the B&B.
The buffet style breakfast was hearty and a welcome start to the day. 
Overall, we had an excellent stay and we will definitely stay again if/when the next opportunity arises!
