We had a beautiful stay at The Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast. Dermot, the owner could not have been more kind, generous, funny and accommodating! My family was celebrating my mom’s birthday so we had a group of 7 and three rooms. We enjoyed learning from Dermot about the area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was comfortable and spacious, a few minutes walk to town, and breakfast options were fabulous. We loved the sitting area for our family to gather before heading to dinner! The inn has fabulous views!! We would highly recommend staying at this beautiful location and we were more than happy to support this local business!! Dermot is happy when his guests are happy!! As he says, “Enter as strangers, leave as friends!”

Great family stay!!

We made a last minute reservation at the Lighthouse in early April. Spent a lovely, cozy night with comfy beds. Great location, walking distance to town, and a great view. The host was wonderful and a wealth of information. Would totally recommend.

Lovely Dingle B&B

This was our favorite lodging during our 10-day trip in Ireland.  The room was very clean and comfortable and felt private even with other guests.  Mary was a great host, quick to provide some history or offer a recommendation.  The location is an easy stroll to the shops and restaurants and I liked that in was not directly in town (no parking challenges).  The location provided great views (when not raining).  Dingle is a great town and the Lighthouse is great place to stay. 

Wonderful Accomodations in Dingle

The Lighthouse is a lovely B&B, very clean, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. The hosts were warm, accommodating, and helpful. They even carried our luggage up to our room! The breakfast had sufficient choices and was quite good. The location was perfect- we could walk to town easily yet we were in a quiet spot. It’s a winner!

A real gem!

Our stay at the Lighthouse was everything we hoped it would be--and more. From the moment we arrived (quite a bit ahead of check-in time, but to find our room ready for us!), Mary took the best care of us. Our room was spacious and well-kept with plenty of closet storage for our bags and an extremely comfortable bed. The bath was filled with light and had lovely, plush towels.
And the views! Our room looked out across the back of the property to some lovely rolling hills. From the front of the building you can look down into Dingle town and the harbor and over the water to the Eask Tower.
Breakfast was delicious every day and the entire staff was always helpful and cheerful. Mary gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat, for places to hear live music, and for some lovely scenic walks in Dingle.
The Lighthouse is an easy ten minute walk into town, so it's nice and quiet. So relaxing!

Delightful in Dingle

We had a comfortable upstairs room that was quiet.  Breakfast was excellent with good choices.
The sitting room off the entrance is exceptionally beautiful.
While it's not in the center of Dingle, the location is a good compromise between quiet and a short walk to town.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here.  Truly stellar. 
1.  Our luggage was delivered to the wrong hotel. I no sooner told our touring company than our hostess had retrieved it. 
2.  Breakfast is outstanding. Having had sausage and black and white pudding at a castle and a major hotel, I thought these were just really fatty items. They were so much better at Lighthouse. Crisp outer casing, varied options for breakfast we haven’t been offered anywhere else. 
3.  Hostess is always available to answer questions and offer recommendations. 
4.  Room was spacious and had a lovely, large, overstuffed chair with wheels so you could move it around in the plush carpet. 
5.  The only place yet to have conditioner for my hair. My hair needed it so much at this point in our trip. Nice shampoo too. 
6.  Beautiful views from bedroom and breakfast room. 
7.  Comfortable beds, very clean, and hot water. (What one would expect but figured I should say it.)

Top-notch Stay. Perfect in EVERY Way

Lovely b&b positioned over the Dingle Bay for wonderful views. The rooms were perfect for two travelers - clean, well furnished, quality bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing exactly what you'd expect from a quality b&b for breakfast. I was stunned that this was the least expensive lodging on my 6-day Ireland trip yet the highest quality lodging.

High quality, lovely views, great price

Beautiful house situated within walking distance of the centre. Our room was spacious and light and included  double and a single bed. The bathroom had all facilities and overall was very clean. Excellent breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly host.

Excellent!

We are just back from a lovely stay in this B & B.  From the moment we arrived, Mary made us feel at home with her great advice on local hikes and where to eat and drink in Dingle.  The bedroom and guest areas are spotlessly clean.  The  breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and great coffee, served by Mary and her daughter Ciara.  The views are spectacular and it is very conveniently positioned just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Dingle, which means it is lovely and quiet.  Can not wait to visit again soon.
