The b and b is a 2-minute drive from the centre of Galway and a 15-minute walk away. We were very pleased with the location, the kindness of the staff and the whole setting. The room was very nice and typical, unique to the bathroom a little small. Simple breakfast but served with everything, (on request we were also brought gluten-free bread.). I absolutely recommend this b and b for those who want to try a classic Irish experience.

Spent one night here and it was enough. Small room 1980s decor even the crockery.  Mismatched linen on a lumpy mattress and tinned peaches with the continental breakfast.  Being honest feel cheated  Definitely not worth what they charged. Old carpets.

A B&B located not far from downtown Galway, very friendly staff, but very, very small and not too comfortable room, we haven't tried breakfast, parking on the street.

Good but not the best.

It's a great b&b to see Galway, 15 minutes' walk to the city centre along a beautiful walk on the oceanfront.

We stayed at the Anbelle Lodge for one night.

The (attic) room is very small, but has everything you could need in a B&B. The room was clean, everything worked just fine and the beds are good. The B&B is a short walk away from Galway. Parking was no problem at all. Good breakfast, as well.

The thing that we liked most about our stay was the friendliness and hospitality of the owners. From helping us carry our luggage up the stairs, to taking the time to have a chat, to putting together a list of restaurants et cetera in the area, it really made us feel at home here.

We'd certainly stay here again.

Pleasant stay

We arrived to Anbelle lodge hoping for a charming little Irish B & B. 
But what we got was a room that was more suited to a hobbit, however I am concerned that a hobbit’s feet would not fit into the shower. 
So my tips are as follows- if you are taller than 155cm be prepared to bang your head on most areas of the ceiling. If you are claustrophobic don’t use the shower. 
Oh and the room is without a window, the only source of natural light is a skylight in the roof and it has no curtain so come sun up you’re awake! No rest on this holiday! 

The attic..... 

Very nice small but fine rooms, all in excellent condition and a very nice hostess. The breakfast was continental with bread, toast, sausage, cheese, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit salad. The location is perfect for my taste because the center is still within walking distance, but you can always find a parking space in front of the house. The price ratio is also excellent. Absolutely recommended!

Nice, comfortable and very clean accommodation with good parking facilities

Our room was in the attic and I can say that it's OK (not great but OK). It was clean and quiet so that's a good thing to begin with. Location wise, it's 30 minutes walk away from the city centre but there's a bus stop just in front of the B&B. It's quite close to the sea as well. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice, too.

Quiet, clean B&B in a good location

Good location.  The room was in the attic, very cramped and claustrophobic and not very clean. You could only stand up in the middle of the room and the kettle was in a recess with a very very low ceiling and very difficult to use. The staircase was thick with dust.
Breakfast was OK.

Not worth the money

Room and facility are clean and comfortable, breakfast is good, and staff are friendly and helpful.  We're satisfied and happy with our stay, and will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Galway in the future.
