I arrived late after a day of touring so I called and  Margaret very accommodating. When I arrived exhausted, I was greeted warmly and felt like I had arrived home. The room was clean and comfortable. It was dark when I arrived but I awoke to a breathtaking view! I had been given a choice of breakfasts the night before and when I came down, I could smell the wonderful breakfast and Margaret was waiting to offer coffee, tea, and juice while I waited for breakfast. I viewed the ocean while sipping coffee. So good for the soul. The breakfast was fresh homemade everything, including freshly squeezed orange juice. After breakfast, we had a lovely chat and she & her husband offered me directions and tips for sites to see. The stay couldn't have been more lovely!

Excellence!

A very welcoming host and ferry location with a stunning view. A Comfortable and spacious bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Beach is 5min walk away. We had an excellent stay. A bit far away from Cork tough.

Very Nice stay

Clean and modern farmhouse with picturesque views of Ballycotton lighthouse and walking distance to Ballywilling strand just outside Garryvoe. Margaret is an excellent host who enjoys running her B&B. Family room and bathroom were spacious and clean and breakfast had something for everyone, really enjoyed our 2 nights at Castlefarm. 

Beautiful Farmhouse

We showed up late, because the sun sets around 9:30-10 pm in the spring and summer and the host accepted us in made up our beds and took our breakfast order. Proud homeowners and it shows in their rooms and their delicious pancake breakfast.  (after eating traditional Scottish and Irish breakfast this was a welcome departure.) 

Stay here if you can!

Best View

Thank you Margaret for your hospitality.Your home is beautiful as is the ocean view.Margaret was a wonderful host and had a mass of knowledge on things to see and do.This was are favorite place to stay.

Favorite B&B

What a view!! Ocean and beautiful trails nearby.  Margaret was an excellent hostess with much knowlege of the area.  She is kind and helpful.  Breakfasts were amazing and made to order.  Ballycotton is a beautiful place.  Beds were comfy and coffee and biscuits in room.

Breathtaking B&B

We had a comfortable, spotlessly clean spacious room with en-suite and a view out towards the sea. Margaret was a wonderful host and turned out to be a mine of information on where to go, what to see and what to do. There was a good range of hot breakfast choices and the cold buffet was very good too. Excellent coffee. Breakfast set us up for the day.  Wi-fi was fast.

So Welcoming

Thank you Mrs Leahy for your hospitality. The house is historically beautiful. The staff is welcoming and warm. The area is breathtaking as is the view. I was compelled to take a three Mile walk and take in the clean air. Must got to Pier 26. Took the wife there twice. 

Beautiful & Breathtaking 

This was one of our favorite places we stayed during our trip.  Mrs. Margaret is the sweetest hostess and she made us feel right at home.  Our only regret is that we only stayed one night with her.  Her house was so clean and cozy.  Her gardens are immaculate and the view is astounding.  Breakfast was great.  Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a newly renovated en-suite.  She gave us wonderful advice about what to do and where to go in the area.  We can't wait to come back and stay several days at Castle Farm!
