Always loved staying here.but this time it wasnt great bedroom window broken.bedroom freezing all night.reported it when checking out didnt get any satisfaction. Food wasnt great either.
Glad to see it being taken over by the brennan brothers .i know it will be more expensive but at least it might be an enjoyable stay.

The Lansdowne Arms Hotel Kenmare  has  New Owners and now The Lansdowne Hotel Kenmare Co Kerry for 2021.  Great  Location Very nice and helpful Staff . Mary The Singing Waitress did a lovely song for us and made our visit to Kenmare a place to remember and visit again to meet Mary again .

The Lansdowne Hotel Kenmare New Name New Owners

We vacationed for about a week in the south, summer of '19. I really enjoyed it. However, I did not want to risk a bad meal. So we went to the Lansdown every single night. It was superb. Margaret was so kind to us, and our children. Nothing better then terrific food & family friendly.

Great Dinners

We have eaten in Kenmare in every restaurant worth visiting and this was our last but absolute favourite, surprising and unexpected but just the most fabulous fish & Chips I have eaten in a long time , in fact there was 4 of us and every dish was excellent. Cannot wait to go back .

The food was absolutely fantastic!

This is a great location everything is just a short walk away. We stayed for 4 nights The breakfasts were just fantastic, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The bathroom could do with and update loose bits in the shower and the sink taps needed changing. Otherwise the room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and we will return.

Terrific location

We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was great. Check in was so friendly and that friendliness continued throughout our stay. The room was lovely with a beautiful modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, the omelette was excellent as was the full Irish. You could easily taste the quality of ingredients used. The location of the hotel is perfect. It was our second time staying here and we’ll definitely be back again.

We arrived into Kenmare to a beautiful warm greeting, a lovely room but also after travelling around Kerry  Cork for over a week definitely the best breakfast we have had! Really attentive staff, free parking and overall a great experience. A fridge in the room would be a bonus for cold drinks during summer but that is the only fault I could tell you!

Perfect getaway location - exceptional staff

We have just returned from a great family holiday in Kenmare made even better by our stay in The Lansdowne.
Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds in Clean rooms with huge bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We will certainly return.

Great Family Holiday

We arrived on Monday 27th July to be greeted by a lovely lady Breda. She checked us in with a warmness that I've never seen in any other accomadation over the years
The main plus for this hotel which is the real reason I am writing this ..is how everyone (from bar, restaurant and reception staff ) are amazing. 
This hotel feels like a home away from home , all the staff make you feel like they've known you for years but it was when I had the misfortune of falling and fracturing my ankle that they really showed their true colours. Ringing south Doc, finding crutches from their own home (after thouraghly sanitising them)advising is what hospital was best to go to and finding us a perfect place in the bar to eat without have the worrying of struggling to the loo. The good was delicious and so fresh and tasty.
Both Margaret and Breda were fantastic and it was with their help and advice that we got to continue on our journey to Killarney to finish out staycation (In somewhat a different style than planned)
These two girls made our stay so special and I really hope that the owners know how lucky they are to have them.
I can't wait to go back

Visited for food and drinks with family and decided to come back for 2 more visits. Service and food were perfect. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Would recommend to anybody holidaying around Kenmare. 👌🏻
