This is one of our favourite places to visit when in Kenmare. 

They very often have live Irish music with even the locals joining in the singing 

The Guinness is good too. 

Everyone is friendly and it’s a really good time. 

Great atmosphere and live music

My husband and I stayed for one night. The main appeal was it’s location as it’s right in the center of the town which was perfect as we were able to have a few drinks and food in Kenmare town and walk back. The room was absolutely perfect. Clean and a lovely bathroom - shower. The only downside to our stay was we were woken to pumping music which felt as if our bed was in the middle of a nightclub! Room was literally  vibrating. Initially annoying but we laughed it off as we felt we were missing out and should have joined the party downstairs :)

Recently visited Kerry and my wife was recommended to eat in the Wander Inn bar. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ate in the courtyard and decided to stay longer than planned as there was a brilliant atmosphere in the bar.

We (a group of 4) recently stayed in the Wander Inn for two nights. Ideal place to stay as it is in the centre of Kenmare. Would stay again. Ate in the bar downstairs one of the evenings. We all really enjoyed the food. I had scampi for starter and curry for main course - would definitely recommend.

Great Accommodation and Food in Kenmare

We stayed in the Wander Inn Saturday night with friends, the rooms were excellent and good value. Great location! We ate in the bar downstairs, the food was of high standard and the service was very good. Looking forward to our next night in Kenmare.

Very impressed with our stay.

Very impersonal, keys just handed over and told to be left on the counter in the morning. Clean room and bed with the basic necessities, good wifi and coffee/tea. They don’t do breakfast but there are lots of cafes close by. Good location right in the center. Ok for a good night’s sleep but that’s about it.

Insignificant in every way.

Staff member named "Denis" attempted to lure a female member of our party of 4 into the empty kitchen area last night 01/05. He asked her first was she drunk and did she have a boyfriend. He then pulled her in there against her will. It was fortunate myself and my friend saw this happen and managed to stop his attempt to close the door with the female inside. Once we got her to safety he locked the door and refused to come out, we didin't see him again so assumed he went out the back exit scurrying like the rat he was! We brought the incident to the attention of several other staff who seemed to just brush it off and not care, as if it might be a regular occurence! An older lady of the staff told us to return in the morning at 11 to check the cameras as one was facing the room but the place was closed when we came back the next day before we had to drive home. Just wanted to highlight this shocking incident as I saw a lot of other women in there and hen parties etc and would hate to think he tries this again on anyone else who may be drunk and vulnerable. This staff member should be removed immediately!!

Class spot. Great price, beautiful clean newly refurbished room and on-suit. Lively spot, really friendly service, they go the extra mile for you. It's not for early birds 😏but if you are staying up and want a great night out next to your beautiful quiet comfortable bedroom this it the place for you. ****AND****PARKING .FREE IN TOWN

Great for a fun weekend

Kenmare is a lovely town with so many options, don’t waste your time here. Staff are so so rude and don’t seem to know what’s going on. Rather than being apologetic about the chaos, they made it seem like our fault. They don’t communicate with each other, are rude to customers and end up wasting everyone’s time. I was treated so badly and received huge disinformation from staff.  Also over charged for our drink. DONT BOTHER GOING

Truly horrible waitstaff....
Reccomendation - if you ever come to Ireland, do some sort of self- catering (hostels, air bnb) etc.
Because the staff at the Wander Inn and in lotsa other pubs, cafes and restaurants have 0% interest in providing a hint of quality service to customers.
