In addition to the amazing stay we had at the Dromhall hotel - the breakfast every morning was one of the best we’ve ever had! We looked forward to it every morning - the choice was fab and the quality and freshness of the food was exquisite! Little touches like a drop of whiskey in your porridge just made it all authentic - loved it! 

Breakfast at Dromhall Hotel, Killarney 

Situation - 3 * In a residential area, this B&B is located 15 minutes' walk from Killarney city centre Parking places available. Easy access, a few steps from the road to Killarney National Park. The rooms - 3 * We had a separate private bathroom. Not very convenient in fact. Clean room, equipped but a little old. Clean but aging litter. Clean bathroom and equipped with a bathtub but not heated and without VMC. Nothing to say about cleanliness and comfort, but the young lady needs a bit of a break.

Affordable prices in a residential area

Two steps from Killarney town centre, Peggy is very welcoming and warm, copious and typically Irish, very good breakfast, nice room with a very large bed, very good price ratio.

Welcome rate of quality excellent price

A lovely, homely house, and the welcome we received was definitely the warmest we experienced in our week in Ireland. Peggy came across as being both discrete and sincere, and made us really feel at home. Her scones and soda bread are to die for! Our room was comfortable, the house is quiet and very well situated to walk to the centre of town. Thank you, Peggy, for everything.

We loved our stay here! We were kindly greeted by Peggy at the door, and as she showed us around, she asked us what we’d like for breakfast. She was so incredibly sweet and very helpful in helping us decide where we wanted to go first in Killarney. We were only there one night but she made our stay very comfortable. Thanks Peggy! 

Wonderful one-night stay

It's a very cozy B&B, a nice owner, well furnished, and it was about a 10-minute walk to the city centre, and the breakfast was typically Irish, but I didn't particularly like the taste of the fat she was baking.

Irish type

Peggy is a very nice, thoughtful hostess, which is reflected in the rooms. The house is in a quiet location, but you're fast in the city. The city itself seemed very intrusive. You know that many tourists are on the road:-(. To find a good pub, you have to look for it. The surroundings are great. The National Park is right next door and really worth seeing. You don't have to get in on car rides. They only go to Mucross House, which is worth seeing, and a very guided tour should not be missed. There are handcuffs in various languages,

Is everything right?

The Bedroom: The bedroom was not very big but it was comfortable. Bed and pillows were all right. There was a sink in our bedroom. 

The Bathroom: It was clean and spacious. Some shower gel and shampoo were at offer. The Bathroom is located in front of the bedroom. The shower was clogged but was instantly fixed. 

Breakfast: At arrival, we were asked what we wanted to have for breakfast. Fruits, cereals and yoghurt, as well as full Irish breakfast, were some options. 

Location: Since we were by car, we had no trouble moving around.

Parking: Free parking available.

Good and Convenient B&B

We have spent the weekend in Killarney and stayed at Peggy's house, which is only 10 min walking from the town centre. She is a lovely and helpful host, the room was nice, warm and comfortable, and clean and the bed was huuuge :) Breakfast was very generous with homemade scones, which my boyfriend enjoyed very much. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Killarney! Thanks a million once again Peggy!

Lovely stay!

A very warm welcome in this very clean B&B and very well maintained by an absolutely charming lady. You will not miss anything, neither heat nor advice in this place a three-minute drive from the centre of Killarney. In twin beds the bathroom is strict, but in double rooms it is perfect! The service is really flawless and the price of the rooms very well placed.
